### 2/5 — Not bad, but missing Apple Wallet integration

*2026-08-07, version 2.4.2*

Apple Wallet integration is a must, especially with pass location api. This would be a huge QOL upgrade, being at the range would prompt the Pass notification to appear on the lock screen and simply tapping it would expose QR code. Hope to see this added soon!

App Iconography could also be improved, highly recommend shrinking the circular ball icon to add some white padding around it.

### 4/5 — Not bad, but missing Apple Wallet integration

### 3/5 — Transaction history ? & support

*2024-02-25, version 2.2.7*

Not able to see transaction history, think I may have been double charged….? Where can I go in the app for support?

### 1/5 — Leech on Municipal Golf

*2023-12-16, version 2.2.6*

Used my LA City muni driving ranges for years until these jackals installed their garbage point of sale systems on the dispensers and data harvesting app (it doxxes you every time you have balls dispensed).

### 1/5 — Duplicate charge

*2023-08-27, version 2.2.5*

The app/scanner had an error and charged me $12 without dispensing any balls.

### 1/5 — Just want to purchase a basket of practice balls

*2023-07-27, version 2.2.5*

Only option at machine was to load dollars on app that i will not use today! Just wanted to practice. So I was able to select one bucket thru app, then put card in to pay. Says dispensing but nothing came out. Cc shows pending charge. After watching attendant try to figure out issue for 15 min.., i just left instead of dealing with issue. If min purchase is now $50 dollars, may explain why driving range was empty

### 1/5 — Not good

*2023-07-23, version 2.2.5*

Had to consult reviews to figure out how this app works, or rather doesn’t. Low effort and cheap UX.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-06-08, version 2.2.3*

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Not user friendly. Hard to load money. For an app that should make things easier, it makes them harder. Do better.

### 2/5 — Can’t add funds

*2023-05-16, version 2.2.3*

Kinda useless if you can’t add funds on the app. Have to walk in into facilities in order to reload.

### 3/5 — Not useful

*2023-05-10, version 2.2.3*

Downloaded, filled out a profile, cannot load money into the app.

QR codes have no effect on the ball machine.

This app is useless.
The pro shop is still the best way to go to get range balls.

### 1/5 — Ruining driving ranges

*2023-05-04, version 2.2.3*

Title

### 2/5 — Great in theory

*2023-04-19, version 2.2.3*

Great app in theory, but there are so many was it could be better. 1) You have to have the pro shop add funds for you instead of being able to add your own. 2) Funds are only applicable at the same course you added them at when you should be able to add funds to your account and use them at any participating course. 3) It would be easier to just put a credit card reader on the dispenser for self service than it is to use this app

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-18, version 2.4.2*

App doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — No balance

*2026-03-19, version 2.3.7*

You can’t tell how much money you have in your account. And I can’t replenish by myself, I have to walk into a clubhouse for that transaction.

### 1/5 — Reload

*2025-11-30, version 2.3.7*

I can’t reloading

### 1/5 — What’s the point.

*2025-08-12, version 2.3.6*

I am unable to load money into my app and take advantage of me the extra 10% that is offered. I always states, “ unable to complete transaction”.
No support to contact. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Website took my range card bal. (lost $158)

*2025-07-14, version 2.3.5*

I will not trust this website again.

### 1/5 — SelectPi: Golf Tech That Swings and Misses Hard

*2025-04-17, version 2.3.5*

SelectPi promises ‘ease of use’ but delivers a clunky mess. You can’t even load funds directly in the app—you have to trudge to the pro shop like it’s 1998. Even worse, your balance might be shackled to one course. Want a universal golf experience? This ain’t it. Save yourself the headache and just grab a one-time ticket at the shop. At least you won’t have to deal with their unhelpful customer service.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me process payments

*2025-02-27, version 2.3.4*

Complete waste of an app - won’t take Apple Pay with any of my cards, nor process manually added cards for reloading my account. Supposedly to have “member” pricing at my local range through this app but losing out on $2 every visit because this app won’t work - easily lost 2 large buckets of balls ($30) from not being able to pay through this app appropriately.

### 1/5 — Payment options won’t load

*2024-11-30, version 2.3.4*

Trying to use this and I am unable to add any payment type

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2024-05-23, version 2.3.1*

Don’t know if machine or app problem but when I pay $20 for 100 balls and only get 75. That’s a problem. Consistently happening

### 1/5 — mobile reload

*2024-04-21, version 2.2.9*

there is none

### 5/5 — Purchase made easy

*2024-04-01, version 2.2.9*

Thanks for making it easy for purchasing balls. The app is user friendly but I do have one minor issue; it would be great to see past purchases. It seems like I am going through my funds quick. So, keeping track would be nice.

### 5/5 — Good app and has great features.

*2024-01-01, version 2.2.6*

Good app

### 5/5 — Good app and has great features.Should have 5 stars…

*2023-12-24*

The only reason the select pi app is not 5 stars it’s because MICHAELTRANSON is a jackass and should write a better explanation before putting 1 star.

**Developer response:** Thank you!
