This is a terribly designed and even more poorly executed app. The commands work intermittently at best. The scheduling features do not work at all and seem to have a mind of their own.

This could be such a good app. It literally took me a whole day setting up 28 blinds. Absolute waste of time. The app freezes constantly, drains the phone battery. They need to fix this. Horrible customer experience.

I have 11 shades total and the app is buggy. I can’t use the sunrise/sunset times because the time on the shades is 2 hours off my local time. I reached out to support a few weeks ago and still no fixes.

Manual changes to the shades is laggy and often times I need to close + clear the app and start over for it to work. 

The timed scenes do work for the most part. That’s why I gave it 2 stars. 

Not sure why they didn’t just opt for HomeKit or Google Home compatibility.

Controlling and setting up the blinds is actually fairly simple with this new app compared to the old way SelecBlinds did things with the Bond system. Some huge benefits are being able to set the “limits” very easily within the app and not having to use a remote control with weird button combinations to fine tune things.

A huge drawback to this new system is that it no longer uses the 400MHz frequency, simply relying on Bluetooth.

As a result I’ve found consistent issues controlling the blinds with the app or remote. I have 5 blinds, all within about 15 feet of a remote or hub. However almost 50% of the time one of the blinds doesn’t respond to a signal.

So this app is an improvement in setting up blinds and fine tuning, but the overall system in total is actually a couple steps back in terms of actually responding to commands on the first try.

Bought some blinds and set them to close every afternoon. Now the bedroom stays cool even when we forget.  Setup was a breeze.  Surprised to be able to use this on my Mac!
