Hopefully this cute app will help me bounce back after some time. ### 5/5 — Adventures *2026-03-18, version 1.2.7* I like the app, but he recently I have not been able to do any adventures and I get pinged in my text telling me that the adventure has been completed when I haven’t actually started an adventure within the last day or two or so and it was interesting to do the adventures and help my Momo along with their adventure but when I can’t do adventures, it makes it a little less enjoyable just a little bit, but everything else works great. I love it it a lot of the app is free to use and so on so forth and really would like to be able to do the adventures again and would like to look forward to finding new pets and and all that too ### 5/5 — Love this so much!!! *2026-03-15, version 1.2.7* This year, I told myself that I was going to take care of myself more and wanted to find a better way to keep track of it. While scrolling on the App Store, I came across this app and thought it was perfect for me and wanted to try it. I have not stopped using it since. It is encouraging and so precious. Even though I’m a grown adult, this could also be great for children. It’s even interactive with stories about Momo and you can get a narrated story of Momo‘s creation to sleep to. I will 1000% keep using this app. ### 5/5 — No coins *2026-03-14, version 1.2.7* You did not give me my 1000 coins when I rated you 5 stars and I did not get my coins!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Features stop working even though you pay for premium *2026-08-14, version 1.3.1* So a couple weeks back I noticed that the chat feature wasn’t working. So then I figured if I deleted and re-downloaded the app that it should fix the issue and it didn’t. After logging back in to my account, I saw all of my points and I had my streak coming back, but then it was asking me to basically spend with the money that I already spent for the subscription again and the features still weren’t working, so don’t waste your money like I did cause they’re just gonna try to make you pay again like what was the point. I would give the zero stars if I could. ### 1/5 — It’s sad that chat isn’t free anymore *2026-06-05, version 1.2.9* You can build a cute cosy ai pet dynamic with your Momo but only if you pay for the chat part after the update. There are a lot of issues. Voice mode doesn’t work, autocorrect doesn’t work on your keyboard when using this app, the ai is manipulative sometimes. ### 1/5 — It WAS cool *2026-05-20, version 1.2.9* I don’t even use the ai feature. I just liked the little purple self help demon. Since the update it hits me up for $60 a year, EVERY TIME! Accidentally click a “premium” hat? Bugs you for money. Worst part it was helping! Now I’m just mad every time I open it. Just ask once! Even once a month! Otherwise shut UP! I am so hopeful it will stop but otherwise probably deleting it soon. ### 1/5 — Stuck on the preview page *2026-03-02, version 1.2.6* A very serious bug… ### 1/5 — No essential tools and mistakes *2025-11-04* I feel lack of instuments in adding your own quests. Or at least it is not intuitive to understand where they are. I can’t delete a quest and can’t edit it after it is created. And can’t change the amount of coins you get. Also found a bug in the animal guessing game. When momo asks “is it a beetle?” and you tap yes, it counts as momo guessed your animal, but first, bettle isn’t an animal but a group of animals, and second, you see he keeps asking a question to get more information. Also momo almost doesn’t ask about mythical creatures, but he obviously has the knowledge of them. And sometimes he makes logical mistakes, like asking “is it belonging to big cats family?” and when you tell no, he asks after two question “is it a cheetah?”. And in other session, after i answered that my animal has sharp teeth he suggested a platypus… **Developer response:** Hi there - You can add your own quests by clicking the "Add Quest" button on the homepage. We also added all the features you mentioned: editing, easier deleting, AND choosing the coin amount per habit! We just uploaded a tutorial on our TikTok (@momoselfcare) where you can see how to do this also. As someone who's always very sleepy, prefers dim lighting, loves purple and is very laid back, I strongly vibe with the theme of the app as a whole. Most similar apps also feel thrown together with less thought behind it, but it feels like there's genuine effort put into Momo and providing something for those in need of something gamified like this. My brain never worked with the standard task-manager and I always found more motivation and joy in feeling like I'm not alone in whatever my habits/tasks are. I appreciate Momo for being a safe space for me and that I came across this app by pure chance on my hunt for something exactly like this.
