## What is SelfAssay?

SelfAssay is a research workspace for people who self-experiment with supplements, peptides, and nootropics. Look up the evidence, then find out with your own data whether your stack is actually working for you.

IMPORTANT
SelfAssay is decision support for your own research. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It does not sell, source, or recommend any compound, and it does not encourage the acquisition or use of any substance, including prescription or research compounds. Always consult a qualified clinician and follow the laws where you live.

LOOK UP ANY COMPOUND
Search a growing index of 500+ compounds. Each dossier shows an effectiveness grade by purpose (sleep, focus, recovery, fat loss, and more) and a separate safety grade, both computed from thousands of classified first-hand community reports. See the most-reported effects and side-effects, cited studies and clinical trials, and clinical biomarker directions. When there is not enough first-hand data yet, you see a dash. We never guess.

TRACK YOUR OWN STACK
Log the compounds you take with dose and schedule, run daily check-ins for energy, focus, mood, and sleep, and set up simple n-of-1 experiments. Connect Apple Health to layer your sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate onto the days you took a compound versus the days you did not. The correlation is computed entirely on your device.

MORE TOOLS
- Companion: an AI assistant for compound questions, grounded in the dossier data so it refuses rather than fabricates.
- Pre-Flight: surfaces interaction and safety considerations reported in the community and the literature for a planned stack, as information to review with a qualified clinician.
- Decoder: organizes the values from your own lab report for your reference and lines them up against your stack. It does not diagnose or interpret your results.
- Protocols: save and revisit structured protocols.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your vault is encrypted at rest. Apple Health data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. There is no third-party analytics and no tracking. Export or permanently delete your account and data anytime from the app.

FREE TO USE
Core research and tracking are free to use. Companion, Pre-Flight, and Decoder have free limits, and advanced use is part of SelfAssay Pro.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-20

Introducing Atlas.

Search the SelfAssay knowledge graph by biological target, pathway, receptor, or biomarker - try mTOR, BDNF, AMPK, or cortisol - and see which compounds the published research literature associates with each one, along with the direction and confidence of that association.

Includes a methodology page describing the corpus behind Atlas and its limits.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-10

No release notes.
