## What is Selfloops Fitness?

A great application for your workouts. You can use it for your fitness and cardio workouts and also for running and cycling.
For indoor workouts you can track heart rate data and calories. For outdoor workouts the app also tracks speed, distance and altitude.

The application works with any Bluetooth Smart heart rate monitors.  Calories are calculated using heart rate data.

All your workouts can be uploaded in the Selfloops website where you can find an advanced analysis of all your training sessions.

So far this is the only app I could find that will allow my trainer to monitor my heart rate while I work out.  You have to use an iOS compatible Bluetooth enabled heart rate monitor chest strap (polar) - which was harder to find then you think. It’s a bit tricky to connect the monitor to the iPad but once you do it works well.

I have tried multiple heart rate monitors.  All will connect to my Bluetooth, but none will connect with this app.  I have updated both my phone & the app.  Connection is still unsuccessful.

**Developer response:** Make sure that the HRM is not paired already with another application or device. Also, do not pair the heart rate monitor in the Settings of your device. The Bluetooth standard does not allow to have the heart rate monitor connected at the same time to multiple apps or devices.
