## What is SellSmart?

SellSmart provides delayed futures, basis and adjusted cash prices for Ontario grain elevators. This tool was developed by Grain Farmers of Ontario to assist Ontario farmers in selling their grains. SellSmart was redesigned in 2016 to reflect the changing needs of Ontario farmers. It now includes pricing data for barley and oats as well as an improved price alert function.
 
Grain Farmers of Ontario is the province’s largest commodity organization, representing Ontario’s 28,000 barley, corn, oat, soybean, and wheat farmers. When I enter an alert sometimes I get ejected from the program or app and other times it just didn’t save at all.  I really like the layout and the crop price setup, it’s just the alert that simple doesn’t work.  It could be the newer phones have a software that is not compatible.
