The default ID photo print throws a wrong paper size error. ### 3/5 — Praticidade *2026-08-09* Não é prática para mexer e não consigo enviar várias fotos na mesma medida ### 3/5 — No easy way to print from photos *2026-08-07, version 4.3.10* App prints well, so that’s good, but it is slow and clunky at navigating large photo libraries, and they don’t seem to support iOS share sheet functionality, nor shortcuts, so rather than being able to print from the Photos app, you have to use their app. Older versions of this supported Apple shortcuts, so I hope they reintroduce that support. Also, when you load the list of albums, there is no apparent sort order -it’s neither alphabetical nor chronological, and you can’t search for an album name. You have to replace the ink cartridge after every pack of paper making it a pain to carry so many pieces whilst traveling. I always use Pic Frame to add two 3x4 photos with a white border on a Postcard setting. The update has changed the borders & I’ve tried everything to try and re-align it even just using the app without modifying the 2 photos in Pic Frame. The borders on the ends are either misaligned when cutting through the middle white space or the photos have the tear off line showing on the photos. Even with no borders it still does the same when 2 images are used together! Have tried all the new settings to no avail. I don’t feel like getting my blood pressure up too high again but fix everything that has to do with WiFi connecting and printing. If I see that “Selphy wants to connect to CP1500” message again today, baseballs fastest pitch to date will be decimated. I have the cp1500 and it has only managed to print 1 photo successfully. Every time since it states I have the incorrect paper size although I have the correct size P paper and ink cartridge. Better off painting. ### 1/5 — Why was the N-up feature removed? *2026-06-28, version 4.3.10* I just got the Canon CP1500 after my friend recommended it. She had said I could use the N-up feature to print 4 copies of the same photo. So I was hoping to leverage this technology but when I used it recently, I discovered this feature had been quietly removed. It makes no sense at all, since now I have to select the same photo 4 times under Collage, which adds 3 extra steps. I’ll keep my rating 1 star until the developers bring it back (as well as bring back some common sense). This is a prime example of poor user experience at its finest. ### 1/5 — No connection through app *2026-06-14, version 4.3.10* For context I am running IPhone 16Pro (iOS 26.4.2) and since November 2025 I bought the Canon’s CP1500. Since then I’ve been facing a bug that doesn’t allow me to connect the printer to the app. Since November they’ve updated the app(4.3.1) and the printer(Ver1.0.7.0) and the problem still persists. When I try to print photos on the SELPHY app it always fails to connect to the printer. And then error pop tab saying the printer is not connected to power or wifi connection error. But neither is true because the printer has stable connection to power and WiFi works because I’m able to bypass this error through printing photos on iPhones photos app. This makes the printer usable but it’s very disappointing I’m locked out of key features only available in Canon’s SELPHY app. Most of these features that incentivized me to buy the printer. Without them I can’t recommend anyone buy this printer. Having such a detrimental software issue makes without any solution feels like getting scammed.
