## What is Semantix?

Semantix is a slow, thoughtful word game for two players. Instead of racing a clock, you and a friend take turns over days — up to 48 hours per move — building a shared web of words connected by meaning.

HOW IT PLAYS
Start from a single seed word. On your turn, pick any word already in the network, then add a new one linked to it. Declare how they connect — is it a synonym, an opposite, a property, the same category? An AI referee runs entirely on your device and decides whether the link holds up. Land it and you score; the network grows in your color.

FOUR WAYS TO CONNECT
Synonym, opposite, category and property. Tougher links demand a stronger semantic match — and pay out more points. Longer, more specific words earn a bonus on top, and quick replies score a speed multiplier.

THINK, DON'T RUSH
Turns play out asynchronously, like Wordfeud or chess by mail. Make your move whenever inspiration strikes; your opponent gets a notification when it's their turn.

CHALLENGE THE CALL
Not convinced your opponent's word really fits? Spend your turn to challenge it. A second, independent AI weighs in — win and their word is struck from the board; lose and you pay a penalty.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The language model lives on your phone. Your words never leave the device to be validated — there's no account to create and no server reading your game.

FEATURES
• Asynchronous turn-based play, 48 hours per move
• On-device AI validation — works offline, stays private
• Four semantic connection types, each scored differently
• Length and speed bonuses reward bold, fast play
• Choose your match length: 5, 10, 15 or 20 rounds
• Game Center matchmaking, push notifications and a global leaderboard
• A living network graph you can pan, zoom and explore

Playable in Norwegian and English — pick the language per match, and switch the app's interface language in Settings. More languages on the way.

Add a friend, plant a seed word, and see what the two of you grow.
