## What is Sempli?

Sempli is the app for hotel and restaurant teams.

• Shift plan: your shifts, changes and open shifts you can take
• Clock in: at the terminal with your personal code or a QR code from the app
• Times and balance: every clock time traceable, breaks according to German working-time law
• Holidays and absences: request them, get the answer as a notification
• Rooms: order based on arrivals, start and clean with one tap, damage and lost items with a photo
• Notifications in ten languages

For managers: planning based on occupancy, approvals with Face ID, payroll export.

Access: Sempli is for businesses. Your employer creates your account. The workplace code is in your invitation.

Privacy: no ads or advertising tracking. Location checks only for mobile clocking configured to require them: coordinates are briefly sent for checking; workplace location and check result are stored.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-10-30

Room note: If cleaning took longer, record why in two taps – for example very dirty or pet – with a short text and, if you like, a photo. Reception and management can see the note.
Room areas: If your house is split into areas, the room list shows only the rooms of your area.
Start cleaning earlier: If a guest has already left on departure day, choose “Guest already left?” and confirm “Room empty – start cleaning”.
Clean together: Room details show everyone who joined. Others tap “Help out” to join.
More stable connection on weak Wi-Fi and clearer messages when a request does not get through.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-29

Start cleaning sooner: If a guest has already left on departure day, confirm that the room is empty to begin cleaning. Reception's checkout remains unchanged.
Clean together: Room details now show all helpers who have joined the cleaning. Additional helpers select “Help out”.
Sign the hygiene training directly in the app.
Report sick on a day off.
Link lost-and-found items to a booking.
Reply drafts for enquiries on iPhone.
Faster loading.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-19

Report and handle damages: urgency, assignee, feedback to reception. Shift plans from scheduling right in the app. Smaller improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-17

New: every team sees what it needs. Reception sees all rooms at a glance – free, occupied, arrival, departure. Maintenance sees all open damage reports and whether someone is in the room right now. Every team now reports lost items from "Today", with place and room number, and you choose your own team.

Also: checks with photo proof for areas such as the bin area or cold room, a notice when a new version is available, more reliable clock-in at the terminal, half days in leave requests and many small improvements.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-13

New: a short tour on first launch and a help page under "Me" with answers and step-by-step guides. Plus improvements to notifications, lost and found, and the manager area.
