This feature was there on the previous SEMS app, and no longer in SEMS+ ### 2/5 — Stabile Funktion, leider sehr unübersichtlich *2026-08-23* Schade, dass so viel Platz für eine nutzlose Animation verschwendet wird. Was zählt sind doch die Zahlen. Auf dem Tablet kann man nicht mal die 4 wichtigsten Angaben (früher in der „einfachen“ Animation schön kompakt dargestellt Erzeugung, Verbrauch, SOC und Bezug) sehen ohne zu scrollen. Hier gibts noch deutlich Luft nach oben! ### 4/5 — Meistens sehr zuverlässig *2026-08-20* Aus meiner Sicht wurde das ganze recht übersichtlich gestaltet. Was etwas zur Verwirrung beiträgt sind z.B. PV Leistung in gesamt Übersicht nicht gleich der PV Leistung im Bereich Wechselrichter. Ein weiteres Widget für den Sperrbildschirm mit frei konfigurierbaren Werten wäre super wie z.B. Aktueller PV Ertrag und Tagesertrag. Oder Aktuell PV und aktuell Speicher Zustand. So das man es bei IOS am IPhone als kleines Widget mit zwei Zeilen oder breites mit 4 Werten einfügen kann. Ein schnellerer Zugriff auf die Batterie wäre schön, das man nicht erst auf den Wechselrichter und von diesem auf die angeschlossene Batterie wählen muss. Das allgemeine Design ist sehr gelungen. Schön wäre es beim Tages Graphen, wenn man die PV Leistung nicht nur als Gesamtgraph sondern auch die jeweiligen Mppt Strings sehen könnte ohne in den Bereich Wechselrichter wechseln zu müssen. Vielen Dank ### 3/5 — Lack of data post update *2026-08-05* Was very happy with the app prior to the latest software update of my inverter. It would seem the only data now visible is the grid export total for the day. It now lacks the AC generated and energy consumption data. So I have no visual of power in from grid or what the load that is used by the load and back to the batteries **Developer response:** We are very sorry to bring you a bad experience. Please ask if you do not have an electric meter. Not having an electric meter will cause abnormal calculation of these data, so it is not displayed. If you have any questions, please contact jifei.he@goodwe.com. ### 2/5 — Zu langsam bei der Aktuallisierung *2026-07-27* Die App ist grafisch deutlich zeitgemäßer., jedoch zeigt sie 5 Minuten zeitverzögert die Werte des Wechselrichters an. Dies ist irritierend, wenn man prüfen möchte ob die unterschiedlichen Wetterbedingungen vom Smartmeter richtig verarbeitet werden. The TOU does not work as set and the simulation shows random flow of power from grid even if I am off grid. I finally got this fixed after my brother told me to upgrade the firmware in my system which can be easily done via the SolarGo app only. You have to open the SEMS app, reconnect the wifi (which it remembers) and then the app will communicate to the system. Thanks. ### 4/5 — Getting Better *2026-06-29* The migration away from SolarGo app into the SEMS+ app is making progress. I bought an ESA inverter with 24kWh of Goodwe batteries and a Goodwe EV charger and the ecosystem is working well. I’d like to see more flexibility in setting tariffs (my electricity supplier has daily peak/offpeak periods but not at weekends). Also an ability to schedule tariffs by UTC would be great to take the hassle out of daylight saving change over. Or have a setting that retains absolute time during the change. Same goes for the EV charger scheduling. Some of the English in the manuals is hard to follow especially when unfamiliar with the concepts a setting relates to. Keep up the good work - the app is maturing. **Developer response:** Hello, this is usually abnormal animation playback caused by the mobile phone system settings. Please find the "animation" or "weaken dynamic effects" related options in the mobile phone system settings and make sure the animation is turned on to return to normal. Thanks. ### 2/5 — Constantly Offline *2026-06-07* Since we’ve had our battery this App has spent more time not working with no readings as it’s offline. Almost every second day. Not very helpful for the technology it could provide. It’s not our Internet as we have satellite and that’s 100%. Every time I open the app, I have to look for my reading glasses just to read the data. It would be incredibly helpful if you could add a text size adjustment feature in the settings. The SolarGo app shows both inverter and charger as operating normally and both devices show up on my router. It seems to be the app that is not communicating with my devices despite reinstalling it and ensuring the most recent updated version. ### 3/5 — Recent update *2026-05-11* Goodwe added a SOC limit for TOU mode then removed it. It need more control over inverter/battery with other company’s showing more information like time to full charge or set SOC and time to discharge or set discharge limit. Settings would be hard to find for some but I’m use to it now. We are feeling left out. All the features are for either Australia or EU region. The feedback was useless. Old app was much better. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-05-10* Recently onboarded on it, my device is always showing offline, always showing current power 0KWh. A difference of lifetime units of 2000 units from the old app. If you can’t fix this, stop updating this app. ### 1/5 — TOU lacking features *2026-05-10* Main issues: - Not able to discharge back to the grid to a certain SOC - i.e. discharge to 60% SOC so there’s enough left over to run the house till the next morning - Not able to set how many KW to discharge to the grid - currently it has a discharge power limit but that includes the load of the house. It would be better to have a grid discharge KW limit ### 1/5 — Terrible nothing works *2026-04-30* What a terrible app, no way to stop or start charger, no way to change charging modes. Have to use a separate app and log in as an administrator to do anything. This app is pointless and the old app is being discontinued ### 1/5 — Classic App war besser *2026-04-24* Ein Update sollte Verbesserung mit sich bringen und keine Verschlechterung. Man blickt nichts mehr durch, z.B. kann man einzelne Tage zum letzten Jahr nicht mehr vergleichen oder man kann nicht mehr sehen wieviel tatsächlich Strom eingespeist wurde oder wieviel von der Batterie verbraucht wurde. Man kann nicht erkennen wieviel Strom man zugekauft hat. It would be good to have more information specifically on grid usage and calculated associated costs and to trend this information, as our goal like many households is to reduce power bills. I seen other apps from “leading” battery manufacturers and yes there is more data however it makes running your battery convoluted. Das aussehen der APP ist nun wieder auf höhe der Zeit. Auch schon das man nun direkt aus der APP via Bluetooth auf seinen Wechselrichter zurückgreifen kann. Die SolarGo App benötigt man damit nicht mehr. Ich persönlich fand jedoch die alte Schamtische Grafik des Stromfluss besser und übersichtlicher. Das abgebildete Haus mit dem Strommast ist nicht überall auf der Welt so.
