## What is Sen?

Sen is a Buddhist practice app for the whole family: grandparents check the lunar
day, listen to sutras and recite the Buddha's name each evening; their children
install it once and it simply works — no account, no ads, no phone number asked.

EASY TO READ, EASY TO USE
• Large type on every screen, and larger still with the text size set on your phone
• Change the type size while reading a sutra, from 12 to 24pt, and pick a typeface
• Four tabs, one job each: Home, Lunar calendar, Practice, Sutras
• No sign-in, no date of birth, open and go

LUNAR CALENDAR & BUDDHIST DAYS
• Lunar and solar dates side by side, computed with the Vietnamese lunar algorithm
• Full and new moon days and 70 Buddhist observances a year, each with its meaning
• Day detail: zodiac pillars, auspicious hours and travel directions
• Home-screen widgets: today's lunar date, a verse a day, what is coming up

MEMORIAL BOOK (SỔ GIỖ CHẠP)
• Record grandparents, parents and relatives by their lunar death anniversary
• A reminder every year, 3 or 7 days ahead or on the day, at the hour you choose
• Share the whole book with your family as one file that opens in Sen
• Switch phones without losing it: export the book, import it back

LISTEN AND CHANT
• 85 Vietnamese sutras, searchable by title
• Auto-scroll at your own chanting pace, with a wooden fish on the page
• Chanting radio keeps playing with the screen off, with lock-screen controls

RECITE, STRIKE, SIT
• A 108-bead mala with a soft tap per bead and a bell at the end of each round
• Bell and wooden fish with real recorded sound, tap to strike or let it keep time
• Timed meditation with music and scenery, and a bell when the time is up
• 18 Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with biography, vows and mantras

EXPLORE
• 49 Vietnamese temples with history, tradition, opening hours, festivals and directions
• 30 stories and articles, and all 26 chapters of the Dhammapada
• A gallery of Buddhist imagery and wallpapers

FREE, WITH NO ADS
• Every feature free, no premium tier, no in-app purchases
• No advertising, and never in the middle of a sutra
• Your memorial book, reading history and meditation statistics stay on your device
• Light and dark appearance, Vietnamese and English
