SEND Control App is a professional application designed for access control and validation at events. It allows authorized staff to verify entries, manage event lists, and validate attendees through QR scanning or facial recognition, delivering a fast, modern, and secure experience. With an intuitive interface and a clean design, SEND Control App is built to optimize the entry flow for all types of events: concerts, football matches, festivals, conferences, and more. There's now a lightning bolt button in the top bar that takes you into offline mode whenever you decide, perfect for venues with poor signal or for speeding up entry during peak moments. • The button only appears when you already have passes downloaded on your device, so you always know whether you can work offline. • The offline screen tells apart whether you entered on purpose or lost your connection, showing the right message in each case. • Everything you validate in fast mode is stored on the device and syncs automatically once you're back online. Check-In Method Tracking Every check-in is now recorded along with the method used: QR code, face recognition, or manual entry. This information is preserved for offline check-ins as well and travels to the server when they sync, giving you full traceability of every entry. Face Validation Face validation now surfaces the blocking conditions the moment the face is recognized, instead of only when you confirm the entry. If an attendee is blocked or has already gone through, you see it before the access card turns green. • Blocked attendees and passes that already entered the venue are detected right after recognition, so the approved screen only appears for someone who can actually go in. • When a person has used up all of their passes, the message says so directly instead of showing a generic ticket error. • Face validation is available once you pick a gate, which is what the pass lookup needs in order to find the attendee's tickets. • Sector re-entry keeps working as before for events with a main gate and sector gates. More Reliable QR Scanning The scanner no longer gets stuck when a code can't be read. It now shows you what happened and is immediately ready for the next attendee, without having to leave the screen and come back. • An unreadable, expired, or wrong-event QR shows the matching message and the scanner keeps working. • If the same pass is scanned twice in a row, the duplicate check-in is prevented. • The torch icon always reflects its real state, on or off. When the Camera Won't Start • If the camera can't start, the screen explains why instead of staying black. • When permission is missing, you get a shortcut to Settings to grant it. • If the device has no camera available, the message says so too. Network Diagnostics A new screen under Profile tells you, in plain language, whether check-in is working well or running slow at the venue you're in. Handy when the line is moving slowly and you want to know if the venue signal is to blame. • Shows whether check-in is healthy, slow, or failing, how long it usually takes, and how long the worst cases take. • Tells apart whether the delay comes from the venue network or the server. • You can copy the measurements to send them to support. • Check-ins now retry on their own and speak up sooner when the network doesn't respond, instead of hanging. Camera Improvements • The camera is now fully released when you leave the validation screen, so battery lasts longer and it reopens without delays even after a full day of scanning. • If a photo capture fails, the preview comes back on its own so you can try again right away. • Photos taken during validation are removed from the device once each verification is done.
