## What is Senda?

Ever had a day full of experiences and memories that turned into 20,000, 30,000, 50,000, or even more steps?

I did, as the founder of this app. My phone’s photo gallery was full of screenshots from various step trackers.

That’s how Senda was born: an app that tracks your steps all the time, using the same data as Apple Health. No workouts, no special walking events that you might forget to start or finish. Just an app that lets you scroll through your entire walking history and share any day whenever you want.

Senda only reads data that already lives on your phone. It does not save it elsewhere or add its own activity data.

On top of that, Senda has a walking calendar. It is the closest thing to a workout in the app, but it can be created retroactively whenever you want, even for an event that happened 10 years ago. Just select the dates, add a name, and the calendar event is ready, calculating your steps across the entire selected period.

If you do not want to open the app every day, that is understandable. Not every single day needs to include an exciting walk.

For days like that, Senda has widgets for both the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Check your daily step count without opening the app, or track any of your calendar events using widgets. The total will always be there, freshly updated.

Have a daily goal? Add it, and it will appear as a separate calendar event, extending into the next day whenever you complete it. Get notified when you reach your goal and see how many days are in your streak.

A single day, a multi-day selection, a calendar event, or a goal streak can all be shared using our custom Senda Canvas.

Once you select a timeframe, you can add it to any of your photos, videos, or Live Photos using one of our 35+ custom stickers, designed specifically for sharing your step count.

Senda was made to become a trustworthy way to share steps, replacing fake claims or screenshots from other apps placed over aesthetic pictures of your memories.

Save a work trip, hike, training block, family weekend, or even a grocery run, and let the world know how many steps you walked.

### 0.9.12 — 2026-08-17

Introducing:

• Collages: Up to 6 media files on one canvas: photos, videos, and Live Photos in any order and combination, as long as there are no more than 6. For walks and bigger chapters of life that are hard to fit into a single photo or video. And of course, don’t forget to add your step data on top, or a few of them if you’re sharing a multi-day adventure.

• Image Stickers: Same idea, except now an image can be a sticker. Place your own photos anywhere on the canvas, just like your step data. Want a few at once? Go for it. Images only.

• Fixes and improvements: This part is boring. But, for example, we fixed an issue with deleting data from Apple Health. The chart now correctly decreases when you remove some steps. If Motion & Fitness is enabled, Senda may still show a higher value than Apple Health because that movement was recorded directly by your device. Plus a lot of other boring fixes and improvements under the hood and across the Photo Editor.
