The Sendaride mission is great!  The guide support is second to none.  The app feels like they test in prod.

Rides regularly pay out less than the fare offered.

Huge Plus: Sendaride Support is the best!

Also, I believe in the service Sendaride provides.  

That said, the app…navigation glitches to blank screen so I have to close and reopen the app during rides. 

Completed rides don’t show correctly in the earnings section.

90% of what guides do is transportation that requires navigation.  The app doesn’t support CarPlay so we’re stuck with using the navigation map on our phones. 

Also, calls to riders through the app are not recorded. They really should be recorded for everyone’s benefit.

Huge Plus: Sendaride Support is the best!

Sadly the app is still very buggy.  I spent all day trying to get 90 minutes of training to update in the app.

Still not resolved.

Profile updates don’t update.  Earnings show zero when there are earnings that week.  Navigation doesn’t support carplay. Gets stuck in navigation so ride can’t be ended.  App forces the guide to document that the rider was escorted to and from the vehicle even when the rider refuses that service. Error messages when viewing ride details for assigned rides.  No in app functionality to report that a contact number isn’t current.  This creates off-ride uncompensated work for the guide/CP.  App hijacks the microphone on the way to a ride when there is no rider in the vehicle.  Sendaride wants guides/CP’s to arrive 15 minutes early (also uncompensated) for rides. So if a pickup is 20minutes away, and the guide/CP arrives 15 min early, that’s 35 minutes of being unable to use other bluetooth functionality when there is no rider present and that time is not compensated. I can’t think of a single thing in the new app that is an improvement over the previous app for a guide/CP.  Huge plus:  Calls to Sendaride Support for help during a ride gets to a very helpful human every time.   Good job Guide/CP Support Team!
