I have 4bulbs that were working with Alexa, then became “unresponsive”. I got two to pair, finally, but can’t pair the other two at all now. I thought using the Sengled app would work. It doesn’t. I got an Amazon Bluetooth and a GE bulb. The Amazon bulb paired immediately, and the other one works with the GE app, which links immediately with Alexa and pairs. ### 1/5 — Stupid *2023-11-21, version 1.1.17* There’s a color spectrum to choose the color you want but no default standard colors. If you want RED they make you choose what ever you feel what red looks like. Once you choose a shade good luck trying to make the other light bulbs look the same shade. It’s clear there is no user experience put into this. Buy Philips Hue or Govee. Great hardware and great software. No setting for it to transition through all the colors by it’s self. Very basic and boring. Waste of money. Won’t buy from them again. The cheaper bulbs I had before these were way more vibrant plus brighter and came with a remote that had various light features on it. I have two of them together in the same lamp. After pairing the bulbs if I change for example both to rbight white they both cnage to blue. If you turn off and on with white then it comes back ln as blue. Other colors that change are red for yellow etc. both bulbs up to date. The bulbs seem to not want to stay either yellow or white. All the colors work fine I believe. I tried w Alexa and then this app. Both of them give me the same issue. These bulbs are not perfect - there should be updates!!! I am constantly loosing connectivity with the bulbs and have to reset and reconnect almost every month. As soon as I scan and find a bulb, it disappears and the app tells me it’s not connected again. I have reached out to customer support multiple times and I have never had anyone adequately solve the issues. The QRCode app transfers the lights to another phone but they don’t work. The family can not have control of lights right now. My only suggestion is to add actual preset colours (red, orange, etc) rather than just having a full colour spectrum with a slider. ### 5/5 — Lets you turn the lights off from bed. *2025-06-05, version 1.1.17* This app is what you need if you want to disconnect your Amazon Echo from the light bulbs that often came with them, but still have some remote function. However, it would be nice if there was the same “neon” mode that there is on the wifi bulb app- i.e. automatically cycling/transitioning through colours, or flashing. If that would be possible, then i would give this app 5*. ### 3/5 — Use Alexa app not this app *2024-04-14, version 1.1.17* A lot of people are having trouble connecting this to Alexa. DO NOT DO IT WITH THIS APP. It is much more convenient to hit the + button in the upper right in the Alexa app and then “add device” chose the light and hit the Sengled skill. When it asks if your bulb is Bluetooth his yes. You may need to reset the bulb by turning on and off 20 times. It will immediately find your bulb and connect. Simply add it to the group you want and your all set after 3 minutes.
