### 1/5 — Subscription why?

*2026-08-24*

It’s ridiculous a basic calendar app asks for a subscription.

**Developer response:** The app is designed to be fully usable for free.

The subscription is simply an optional extra for people who want to remove ads. It is not required to use the app’s features.

Are you seriously suggesting that someone should spend months creating something and then provide absolutely everything for free? That suggestion itself is ridiculous and completely misses the point.

As I said from the beginning, I have already gone out of my way to make sure that all of the features can be used for free.
