I had high hopes using it in a cinema. Connecting up was easy and the sound was good.  However, there was a tiny delay which meant it sounded like an echo. That was only tolerable for a few seconds. I appreciate this is new technology and I hope to be able to try it again when this issue is ironed out.

Theatres have spent a lot of time and effort discouraging members of the audience from using their phones during a performance. Along you come and encourage the opposite. 

Having said that my experience was poor. The headphones were useless. I gave up after 5 minutes. I then left at the interval as I could not hear enough. 

I go to the theatre about 20 times a year. Never have I had such a poor experience since requiring help with my hearing. I will not be returning to the Playhouse if they use your technology.

C’est vraiment super. Nous sommes allés entendre une pièce d’opéra à la place des arts. À la salle Wilfred Pelletier. 
C’était le barbier de Séville.
Je sais que les écouteurs, Bluetooth ne sont pas recommandés. et justement ça ne fonctionnait pas ce soir. Mais j’ai désactivé. Lecture automatique lors de l'entrée dans une chaîne.
Et tout est rentré dans l’ordre. merci beaucoup

I planned on using this app for my daughter at a play tonight and I was disappointed to find out that Bluetooth devices add a significant delay to the audio output by the app in addition to adding distortion. 

Although the app did warn me about this possible poor Bluetooth experience it was too late we were already at the event and didn’t have access to a wired device.

Please add this warning to the app description or surface this issue to users before they try to use the app so users can plan to bring a wired device to use with the app. 

Good app, great idea. Just need to work out the kinks in user experience.

Reason being it fails for noise cancelling it barely cancels out background sound and it’s earmuffs are barrow it’s hard to wear

Great for adding accessibility to venues. Would be really cool to see live captioning added as a feature in the future, taking incoming signal and creating live captions for it, or allowing the system administrator to import captions.

Saw Prince of Egypt.  Little bit of echo very occasionally but other than that, fab.  I use Bluetooth hearing aid so sound went through that.  Not sure how headphones would be.
