Going off of sample tracks in the app isn’t as helpful as being told to pick a favorite song of ours, and listening to how different it sounds with each level of adjustment. Sony really did it right with their app (letting you pick between 4 options, then going off of that option to pick one of another 4 or so, then fine-tuning it one more time with the last selection). The only thing it doesn’t have that I’d like to have is the ability to edit the touch controls on my headphones, I’m not sure if it’s a situation specific to my headphones, but being able to change what the controls do would be an awesome feature. The case is covered in a fabric and is also a decent size to my palm. Comfort- good, I’m capable of forgetting the earphones are there because of a silicon fin they have that gently prevents the earphone from moving when placed but allows it to be positioned how you want in your ears. It can also be removed if you don’t like it and they have one that’s smooth without the fin for smaller ears. Audio Quality- Really Good, the app has EQ settings that you can customize. However, even with flat audio the sound is clear and consistent. I believe the only problems I’ve had are related to being used to using IEMs with the Qudelix 5K I was able to pull a lot more power into crisp sound at low volumes if that makes sense. For true wireless earbuds they are some of the most impressive audio wise that I have used. ANC- ok, I think the ANC could use work it’s not bad as long as the sounds around you are at an average decibel level or the audio is turned up very high. I will say the transparency is impressive and with the comfort of the earphones I forgot I had anything in my ear when I was doing transparency mode. (I forgot to mention that for some reason the ANC will just switch to transparency on its own sometimes? It’s done it to me 3 times I thought I clicked something the first time but the other two I was playing a game in the background while listening to music so I couldn’t have.) Microphone- so far on calls I have been complimented for how clear I sound on call but I have yet to make a recording and listen to myself. Bluetooth connectivity- 50/50, I’ve had issues with one earphone disconnecting when I am in calls then reconnecting at it’s convenience, both briefly disconnecting when I am listening to music, or briefly cutting out while listening to things. The earphones are good but if I’m having connectivity issues I’m going to just return them. I searched online and it mentioned clearing the cache of the app, but I just got these earphones today this is not a problem I should be experiencing day one. So far I have had a disconnection 26 times in the 6 hours I have had these earphones in my ear. This is all while being directly next to my phone. App- good, the UI is nice it walks you through setup and is easy to use. Along with having several settings to help you with most things. Overall- the earphones are good, but I cannot give more than a three star review due the connection issues. Those issues have been incredibly frustrating and for 200 dollar earphones that is an issue I would not expect. I could get over some of the other problems I have as they are an audio bias due to an AMP/DAC. Without the connection issues I would easily give a 4.6 star review but I can’t recommend them with the current issue as I know I’m not the only one that has experienced it. Even if there is a fix I could do, I should not have to troubleshoot my 200 dollar earphones out of the box. ### 5/5 — Excellent personal adjustability *2026-08-05, version 1.5.1* This is my 6th wireless ear buds in the last 10 years. They sound great, not quite the bass of my Marshall’s, but a better spacial separation than any of the other brands. I’ve paid less, & I’ve paid more. These are a fantastic bang for your buck. The main page in the app mostly focuses on turning ANC on and off, while the more detailed settings are not easy to find. For headphones at this price, I expected the app and settings interface to be much more intuitive and user-friendly.
