### 1/5 — Dumber than a gym rat

*2026-10-07*

This is what I asked the AI n this app to capture in the review.

**Title: An AI trainer that forgets the training plan**

I canceled my subscription because I kept having to remind the AI trainer of the basics of my routine: Saturday is my long-run day, and Sunday is for strength training. A personalized coach should retain those priorities and plan around them, not make me repeat myself.

The kettlebell workout was the final straw. I asked for an all-kettlebell session, but the first version included dumbbell and bodyweight exercises. When I chose kettlebell halos to replace farmer carries, the AI removed the carries without putting halos in the trackable workout, then told me the app doesn’t support that exercise. It should have checked before offering the swap. I spent more time correcting the coach than getting useful coaching.

**Developer response:** Thanks for explaining what happened. We traced the scheduling issue to a conflict between saved preferences and what you requested in chat. The swap failed because the replacement wasn’t in our exercise library, but the app removed the original anyway.

We’re working on both. The coach should resolve conflicting preferences and explain when a swap isn’t possible before changing your workout.

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2026-09-14*

Generic advice. Doesn’t ask any questions. Doesn’t ask about perceived exertion very poor UX doesn’t give any audio cues. Instructions are lacking just wasted 30 minutes on a very poorly designed VO2 max cycling session. I think you can get better recommendations for less money with one of the chat bots total exercise in frustration avoid

**Developer response:** I’m sorry the cycling session left you frustrated and without the guidance you needed. You invested 30 minutes expecting useful, personalized coaching, and the experience you describe fell short.

Your feedback about effort check-ins, clearer instructions, and audio cues is helpful. I’m the developer, and I’d like to understand what happened with this session. If you’re willing, please send the workout details to support@sensai.fit so I can take a closer look. Thank you for explaining what went wrong.

### 2/5 — AI slop

*2026-06-28*

Not great. App gets hung up a lot. The AI is mediocre and can’t remember my instructions. Workout illustrations are average. Wish I didn’t pay for it as it pretty much gave up on me after a few weeks.

**Developer response:** Thanks for trying SensAI, and I’m sorry it fell short. Workout changes and coaching preferences should carry forward without you having to repeat yourself, and reliability around that is something we take very seriously. If you’re willing, please email support@sensai.fit so we can follow up directly and understand where the experience broke down.

### 4/5 — Promising

This is the user experience i was looking for in a fitness app. It does a nice job combining conversation AI with workout program design and performance tracking. There’s one massive drawback which is if the exercise you want to do doesn’t exist in the library, you can’t add it which means you can’t track it.

**Developer response:** Thanks for this. Glad the coaching and tracking work well together for you. You’re right about the exercise library: if a movement isn’t there, you can’t currently add and track it. That’s a real limitation, and we’re looking at how best to address it.

### 5/5 — Highkey great.

Definitely didnt expect this to be as good as it is but Hardbodied recommended it so i decided to use it and he didnt let down.

**Developer response:** Thanks for giving SensAI a shot! Glad Hardbodied sent you our way and that the app’s living up to his recommendation. Appreciate you taking the time to leave a review!

### 5/5 — The best fitness app I’ve ever used

*2026-05-28*

I love love love this app. I’m someone who does a lot of sports (surfing) and needed an app that was able to be tailored to fill in gym and cardio workouts between surf sessions. This can do exactly that - my gym training is completely customizable to hit the muscle groups I need to hit and senses when I’m over exerting, recalibrating accordingly. And I can very easily tweak the workouts by asking it to change something up. It’s really transformative to my workout routine. Keep up the great work!

**Developer response:** Great to hear SensAI is helping you fit gym and cardio work around your surf sessions. Thanks for sharing how you’re using it!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-03-03*

I have made more progress in these two months with SensAI than I ever did working with a trainer

**Developer response:** Glad the training has been paying off. Thanks for sharing your progress!
