### 4/5 — Affects the apple activity app

*2023-03-09*

I like the idea of this app but it’s a little too early to tell if it works. It does have an affect on the Apple activity app (the vibration perhaps?) where on a day where I’ve done no walking whatsoever my exercise ring (green) says I’ve done 128 minutes (426%) and my movement ring (red) says I done 195% of my daily. My stand ring (blue) is unaffected.

### 4/5 — Haven’t used yet - just initial impressions

*2022-02-27, version 1.2*

Just testing out the installation. The app crashes silently on watch. The instructions should tell you that it requires you to enable, at minimum, heart rate sharing in the “Health” app for the Sense Relief app to work.

The app is very simplistic once you get it working. I’m curious to see if this will work when I get motion sick.

Will send a new review or update review when I have a chance to test it.

Additional concerns, the app has not been updated in at least a year based on the last release information. A little concerned with longevity of this particular app as it doesn’t seem to be actively supported.

### 4/5 — App Crashing, Fixed by Deleting and Reinstalling

*2021-12-29, version 1.2*

When I first downloaded the app I was really hopeful that it would help with my morning sickness. Upon trying it out, I pressed start and the app would instantly force close.
I tried restarting my watch and that didn’t help. Then I deleted the app and reinstalled it.
Now it works!

### 4/5 — It’s good but...

*2021-09-30*

It’s good but 3 minutes isn’t long enough! Please give us an option to increase/decrease the length of time it goes on for!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It’s only made for apple watches

*2024-09-02, version 2.3*

the app says it’s made for IPHONES!!!! and APPLE WATCHES. I downloaded this app on my iPhone because i was experiencing motion sickness but of course nope couldn’t use it!! Please add a new feature for me and others to experience no more motion sickness!! 🤢🤮

### 1/5 — Crashes before it even starts

*2022-03-09, version 1.2*

I tap start on the app and it crashes. 👎🏻

### 1/5 — Glitchy and only vibrates twice

*2022-01-12, version 1.2*

If you open from your phone it sticks to instructions page and you cannot navigate of that page. This instructions page doesn’t tell you that you need to open the app on the watch to start it. You can navigate away from instructions page on watch by swiping and when you hit start it vibrates twice and crashes. Don’t waste your time on this app and buy some acupressure Sea Bands.

### 1/5 — Crashes on my Apple Watch 4

*2022-01-05, version 1.2*

App won’t work on my series 4. It crashes as soon as I press the button

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore?

*2021-07-20, version 1.2*

I was really liking this on my Apple Watch. I always get motion sickness and I’d use it when working on the ambulance. It hasn’t been updated for a while I believe? Now it doesn’t work at all. So upsetting!! Now I have to try and find something else.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2021-04-08, version 1.2*

Every time I hit start on my watch, the app closes/crashes. Disappointing.

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2021-01-02, version 1.2*

App crashes immediately after hitting the start button. Watch and phone are all up to date.

### 2/5 — locked out

*2022-09-28, version 2.3*

i was using this for a few days, but i have been permanently locked out of the app. it wants me to sign in, but won’t allow. terrible to put these kinds of restrictions on a glorified vibrator. hundreds of apps will do the same without confusion or stress.

### 2/5 — auto mode messes up exercise data

*2022-05-19, version 2.3*

i put sense relief on auto mode.... until i realized it was marking every single minute as exercise, regardless of my activity. and i'm not able to go back and edit my exercise data to correct it.

### 4/5 — Noise? Why?

*2025-04-10, version 2.3*

This is a great app to use for nausea and stomach issues, but why does it have to beep when it’s not on silent mode?! It never did this before, which is just proof that the more anyone updates apps or their devices, the crappier they get! Turn off the beeping sound!

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works

*2023-09-24, version 2.3*

Worked for my motion sickness on boats, cars, airplanes!!

### 5/5 — *Woah* this actually works

*2023-03-31, version 2.3*

No more anxiety or car sickness. Works instantly.

### 5/5 — NO MORE CAR SICKNESS!!

*2023-03-25, version 2.3*

I hated being a passenger in any vehicle (the driver hated it too) due to getting car sick within minutes of getting on the road. The motion sickness I had was the severe kind. This app on my Apple Watch has stopped it - period. Now I can read, talk, look at out the window; be a normal passenger.

### 5/5 — THIS IS A LIFE SAVER!!!!

*2022-12-23, version 2.3*

i have hyperemesis gravidarum. i am super sick all the time with my pregnancy. i’m in and out of the hospital all the time and it has taken over my life. i downloaded this app because i was desperate to find anything that worked and it has helped so much. it doesn’t take away all the nausea all the time but i have not been sick in two days and that’s amazing.

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2022-03-07, version 1.2*

I become extremely anxious when I start to feel even the slightest sense of nausea and this app has been a life saver. Even just the knowledge that I always have a readily accessible tool to if I ever start to feel ill has helped me feel much more at ease, and in turn, when nauseousness begins to arise it is not extenuated by my anxiety. I don’t know if it helps because it worked once and tricked my brain, if it’s just distracting or if the acupressure is actually what does it but this app really works (side note but I like the turn my watch backwards so it buzzes on the inside of my wrist, and it seems to provide the most relief that way). Regardless this app has been so awesome in a pinch and has worked quickly and effectively every time I’ve used it.

### 5/5 — Motion sickness riding as a passenger

*2021-06-26, version 1.2*

I use it when I’m feeling sick on long trips in the car. Works amazing!!

### 5/5 — Lifesaver

*2020-12-18, version 1.2*

I have been using sea bands since I was a child to alleviate car sickness. I forget them sometimes as an adult (as half the time I’m driving and that fixes the issue). This works great!!!

### 5/5 — Better than Zofran!

*2019-04-28, version 1.0*

What a relief! Try it for yourself and you’ll be convinced.

### 5/5 — More Relaxing than Apple’s Breathe App

*2019-04-25, version 1.0*

Better for focus than Apple’s Breathe App.
