### 4/5 — Just a few requests to make this awesome please!

*2026-08-26, version 3.8.1*

There are SO many reasons for SO many seasons to have pre-sets. Please add them! Change the “Graphs and Logs” to show back to back events (like milliseconds apart) as one timed event! There is NO need to show them as two events. It’s mind-numbingly painful to have to skim through so many logs for no reason! Save space and add extra time backwards!

### 2/5 — Terrible connection problems

*2026-08-01, version 3.8.1*

They really need to improve the connection to the units

### 2/5 — Good enough but full of ads

*2026-05-26, version 3.8.1*

App works, though disappointing to pay a decent whack of money and then get blasted with ads or locked features at every point.

### 2/5 — Sensibo Plus pricing/purchasing?

*2026-04-08, version 3.8.1*

The app description says Sensibo + costs 2.99/mo, but the app says it's 4.99/mo, but then the app won't even let you purchase by the month, it just ignores you if you try to purchase a monthly subscription and only works if you purchase by the year, which is $34.99.

Also please change the way you can adjust the temperature in climate react. The little + and - things drive me crazy (I always get near the temp I want, and then bam it slides all the way to the end!), and the slider is so hard to get exact. Just let me type in the friggin temp I want.

And climate react needs a home and away setting. I’d love to be able to maintain my AC at a less power hungry setting when in away then when I’m home.

### 2/5 — Limited Functionality

*2026-03-22, version 3.8.1*

Mitsubishi MiniSplit has loads of functions…
Sensibo cannot even adjust in 1° increments… instead changing temp by 2° at a time.
…and even basic functions are unavailable.

I don’t recommend this app or product!
It seemed like it would be so cool. Not really though.

### 2/5 — It works but…

*2026-03-19, version 3.8.1*

Prepare to be advertised to every time you go to use the app with an attempted uncharged. You must scroll past attempted up-charges every use to get to what you need because paying for the devices isn’t enough. Also, no easy way to change settings or create shortcuts to flip certain settings on and off so you must always scroll through adverts to find settings buried multiple levels deep.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, software issues

*2026-02-24, version 3.8.1*

Got a Sensibo Air Pro. Does not work at all, and I think the software is to blame. It failed to join the WiFi network from the list on the initial setup, and every subsequent attempt (even after resets) couldn’t even pull up the WiFi list.

Going to return the product and try another company’s offering. Disappointed.

### 1/5 — As everyone else recently rated the subscription is a scam

*2026-02-17, version 3.8.1*

Doesn’t provide anything of value that others provide for free. Not enough updates either to be of value. Find a better option.

### 3/5 — UX/UI could be better

*2026-02-06, version 3.8.1*

- The vertical swing controls are incredibly confusing, the 'up' button is at the bottom while the 'down' button is at the top. Not to mention the horizontal swing which adjusts along the X-axis, yet the menu is laid out vertically along the Y-axis here and there.

- It works with Google Home, but functionality is very limited. I can only turn it on/off and adjust the temperature, there’s even no option to control the fan speed. not to mention H/V swing.

- The 'Climate React' feature could be better. It fails to account for air humidity, focusing only on temperature setting. Because of this, it can't determine what the temperature should be set at to achieve a specific 'feels like' target.

### 2/5 — Support is below standard

*2026-02-04, version 3.8.1*

I have four Sensibo devices and one has ceased to function; despite reset and manual adjustment the signal has stopped working.
The chat support is hopelessly slow and unresponsive!

### 1/5 — Grubby

*2026-02-01, version 3.8.1*

It’s great that I can remotely control my aircon whilst I’m not home and ensure that it can turn on when temperatures rise but that’s it.

Considering how expensive it was to purchase to then put basic features behind a subscription paywall that are available in other home automation apps or on the actual remote of the air con just seems grubby to me. For example widgets and auto off, plus extended history —which is likely saved regardless of subscription or not.

Despite many attempts and resets I have never been successful in connecting Sensibo to my Home app.

The remote system is ridiculous and not compatible or even close to similar with the actual remote of my popular brand of air conditioning unit. I cannot select eco mode as an option at all on any of the options that actually work with my unit. The app is not user friendly and unnecessarily difficult.

I have been closely monitoring the market and once another system that isn’t so grubby is available I will be ditching Sensibo for a better option.

### 1/5 — It works but the subscription is a scam

*2026-01-18, version 3.8.1*

I have Sensibo devices on 4 A/C units. They work well. However, I signed up for their Pure filter subscription. Now I want to cancel it but they don’t have any option to do so. I follow the instructions to Manage Subscriptions in my profile but that option doesn’t exist. Sensibo is one of these companies that doesn’t allow you to find the option to cancel. It’s a scam. Use the product but don’t signup for the subscription because it is a subscription for life.

### 3/5 — Needs a UI overhaul

*2026-01-17, version 3.8.1*

This has definitely saved my energy bill but the “climate react” feature is poorly implemented and lately - it’s not working. I’ve tried to email them to no avail. It’s a simple fix though. But ideally - the entire app design should be overhauled both logically and visually

### 4/5 — Great!

*2026-01-01, version 3.8.1*

Works well , never any issues. I would like to see a wall mounted control unit which is available in Airbnb package but not as a standalone item to buy.

### 1/5 — Rilevamento temperatura e umidità

*2025-12-05, version 3.8.1*

L’app dovrebbe prevedere un aggiornamento firmware dei Sensibo air, per risolvere il problema che hanno i dispositivi nel rilevare correttamente la temperatura e l’umidità

### 1/5 — Forgets setting for Fahrenheit

*2025-11-30, version 3.8.1*

The app constantly forgets to keep the temp in Fahrenheit despite you changing the setting to Fahrenheit. You have to change it every time you open the app. Terrible user experience!

### 2/5 — App issue

*2025-11-26, version 3.8.1*

Not very reliable device, gives false information . When we turn off or turn on ac it’s not guaranteed that it will work .

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2025-11-24, version 3.8.1*

Absolutely useless! There’s no functional way to change wifi networks and support is none existent

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Below Average

*2026-08-15, version 3.8.1*

Having all the features locked behind an additional subscription feels grubby. I could almost forget about it but all the features are pushed in the app. I have to scroll all the way past features I’ll never buy to see my data on the Home Screen. I don’t want your extended warranty.

### 1/5 — Good when it works. Doesn’t work for long.

*2026-08-13, version 3.8.1*

Sensibo didn’t have my air conditioners’ controls in this database but a different model at least allowed very basic controls. I was happy enough with it until, about a year or so after buying it, it just stopped being able to detect any WiFi signals. I’m assuming hardware failure. I’ll try a different brand next time.

### 1/5 — Low quality app with excessive memory leaks

*2026-07-21, version 3.8.1*

This is a very low quality app with numerous memory leaks that increase CPU utilization and drain battery.

### 1/5 — Subscription

*2026-07-10, version 3.8.1*

After paying $150 for the product, you would expect to have all features available. Cannot recommend, buy one of aliexpress, does the same thing and no monthly fee to use your device on your phone on your air conditioner.

### 1/5 — Seriously a SCAM

*2026-05-31, version 3.8.1*

Paying $150 for an infrared wifi pod and THEN paying $5 a MONTH for a subscription to add a WIDGET to my Home Screen? You’ve got to be joking. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Used to be free feature now paid

*2026-04-19, version 3.8.1*

Used to be free feature now paid . Stay away. Go for tplink infra red if u just need on-off like this useless device now.

### 1/5 — Expensive and always asking for more money

*2026-04-12, version 3.8.1*

Apparently the device payment isn’t enough so they spam you to give them more money

### 1/5 — Sensors are terrible

*2026-03-31, version 3.8.1*

On average its off by atleast 5 degrees at all times

### 1/5 — Enough with the AI Assistant nonesense

*2026-03-18, version 3.8.1*

In the latest release, they put the useless AI Assistant up on top of all my A/C controls. It takes up 30% of my screen and I always have to scroll down to access A/C controls when they all used to fit within the screen without the need to scroll down at all. And I’m a paid subscriber for crying out loud!!

### 1/5 — Hopeless

*2026-03-09, version 3.8.1*

The app tells you to complete processes which are completely wrong. The tech support is non existent.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — App and user

*2026-08-26, version 3.8.1*

Not a good app. Very hard to install and set up. No support

### 5/5 — Great product

*2026-01-09, version 3.8.1*

overall this is a great product. It automates a number of the functions and I spent a lot of time doing manually. The most difficult thing is controlling the climate react configuration with the schedules – there seems to be no way of using the current climate react settings and then applying them to a new schedule. This is more an irritation rather than a criticism.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-06-08, version 3.7.51*

This is a very well designed app that works perfectly. It gives air quality ratings via the Sensibo controller. Plus you can have your air conditioner turned on and off depending on schedule or temperature changes, etc. so really a valuable device.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2025-05-25, version 3.7.51*

Very easy to use and convenient

### 5/5 — App Not working

*2025-05-15, version 3.7.51*

Was working perfectly for a couple of months but with the latest iPhone update cannot get past the loading screen of the app. Thanks so much fixed in a couple days. Back to working perfectly!!😀

### 5/5 — Needs a Watch App!

*2025-05-04, version 3.7.51*

Love the app itself, and the product especially. It’s so great to integrate my mini split heat pump units with HomeKit. I just wish there was an Apple Watch app to go alongside it.

### 5/5 — Need Monthly Schedule

*2025-01-24, version 3.7.37*

We need to be able to select the day of the month and the time not just the day of the week. This way we can set the whole schedule for appointments in a space for the whole month where we may want the ACs to come on and turn off.

### 5/5 — Ottima App

*2025-01-06, version 3.7.35*

Ottima App per la gestione degli apparati Sensibo (i migliori sul mercato)! Offre varie modalità di programmazione in modo semplice e veloce! 🔝🔝🔝

### 5/5 — So so good

*2024-12-22, version 3.7.33*

I feel like Sensibo has changed my life for the better.

I can make sure the house doesn’t get too hot or cold when I’m out. Either by checking and manually adjusting, by scheduling it or by setting a temperature parameter so it changes itself if it gets too hot or cold.

I have set up with Google home too so I can verbally adjust it.

Compared to not knowing the temp, having to dig up the remote or leaving the air con on all day because it’ll be too hot at 3pm, it’s FANTASTIC!

Side note - don’t know why the last reviewer talked about scheduling being behind a paywall, it’s just not. I don’t pay a subscription and I can do it all. I don’t care about it getting fancy with bom integration or needing it to suggest schedules I know myself so haven’t subscribed for that stuff.

How wonderful to be able to adjust the aircon that’s in the next room from my bed without having to get up and use the remote!

Brilliant! Love it

P.s. this is the best review I think I’ve ever given a product. I have recommended Sensibo to so many of my family and friends.

### 5/5 — Fantastic product

*2024-12-16, version 3.7.33*

Works super well for me with our Daikin split aircon (AC) - much better than the Daiken MobileController native in most ways. Also works well with our Alexa assistant which was a big deciding factor in us getting it.
