Promo says free. Thank you 🙏 I downloaded it and the allergy warning is accurate. However there is nothing to confirm lifetime free bc there is no onboarding or iAP subscription confirmation which often means if I happen to remove or offload the app & reinstall at a later stage when I need to check air pollution there could be a fee. Can you please confirm? Or add the onboarding lifetime free which? Apart from needing that confirmation. The app is great and helpful for anyone with environmental allergies 🤧 ### 4/5 — How to get the device? *2021-06-18, version 3.9.5* Desperate to get the Sensio pollen counter for indoors so I can predict & take measures to prevent my severe hayfever, which is debilitating. However, can’t find the Sensio air device on sale anywhere? It’s the only device in the world that can detect grass pollen apparently. ### 2/5 — Dodgy *2020-11-18, version 3.9.5* Makes you subscribe before telling you whether it actually has your location. ### 2/5 — Unfortunately appears to be totally inaccurate *2020-08-06* I have a high quality outdoor pollution monitor which tracks pm2.5 and pm10 and it matches up perfectly to the government run aqi sensors. They all are showing practically no air pollution in the whole country while the Sensio app is showing extremely high levels of pm 2.5 and pm 10 for the last couple days. Same is true of some gases which don’t at all match what’s reported by official sensors. This makes me not at all trust their other readings, though I have nothing to compare to. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be for real. ### 2/5 — Feels like bait and switch *2020-07-10, version 3.9.5* Sadly, though I was initially impressed suddenly opened app today to be told I had 7 day trial otherwise $27 subscription. Maybe there was a glitch and I was enjoying for free but prior to this was getting used to and trialling things like tracking symptoms. Having never completed that, can’t comment on its full functionality. What I liked is it was a clean and straightforward interface but since it lacks the depth of detail with other premium apps, am not impressed by the sudden rush to charge. Moreover, it’s that it happened seemingly without warning. I wanted to write to the company to ask whether I had missed something but to submit feedback required too many personal details including work email etc. As though they are uninterested in consumer feedback. ### 2/5 — You have to subscribe now *2020-07-09* I really liked this app, but they recently put everything behind a paywall. There are only locations for big cities. So since there is no way to set location to my city I have no idea what the allergen and pollution rating is therefore doesn’t really help me any. ### 1/5 — Not working properly *2020-04-22, version 3.8.4* Looks great but isn’t logging allergens only pollutants. That isn’t helping me. ### 2/5 — High Monthly Fee *2020-03-13, version 3.6.5* It’s nice to see daily allergy reports, but if you’re looking to track your symptoms and learn about possible causes, it will cost you $19.99/month. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t find my location, Florida, U.S. *2020-02-26* Maybe I’m missing something? But the app doesn’t find my current location. Instead, my options are from a select list of cities around the world but none of them are my current hometown or even close to me. **Developer response:** Hello, if the app is not finding your current location it is most probably that you have disabled the location service when you first downloaded the app. To fix this issue, head to the phone settings, scroll down to Sensio Air and check if location is enabled. It needs to be set on "While using the App". We hope this was helpful, please reconsider our rating if you are satisfied. ### 1/5 — FORCED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT *2019-11-27* I HATE HATE H A T E apps that force you to sign up and create an account. As soon as you open the app if shows up and you can’t do or see anything else. I’m so sick and frustrated of all that do this. You think someone having a serious health problem ha time to do all your stupid steps? The priority here is access to crucial information. How IGNORANT of the developers to put up a stupid sign up first. GET RID OF IT. YOU GIVE PEOPLE THE OPTION AND IF THEY DONT WANT TO, THEN THAT IS THEIR DECISION. You don’t force that choice on anyone. PEOPLE HAVING MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS AN EXTRA SUBSCRIBER FOR YOU TO SPAM. ### 1/5 — Not ready for prime time - high report cost - glitchy *2019-08-26, version 3.4.5* $19.99 subscription fee to get a report, hardly any US cities represented for weather/pollen triggers. Very glitchy, had to keep closing and reopening to see other screens. Very good idea in theory and would be worth the fee if it allowed me to track my triggers to figure things out....but unusable as-is. Deleting... ### 1/5 — Location *2019-06-02* This app makes no sense if you are unable to get the air quality information for your exact location. Why won’t it use my current location? ### 2/5 — Needs more locations *2019-04-23* App seems like it would be great but is greatly lacking in area information. The closest city to me is 3 hours away in another state. The pollen that far north doesn’t affect me as much as the pollen coming up from the south. **Developer response:** Hello and thank you for your feedback. We'll make sure to add it to our list :) ### 2/5 — Missing Cities for Allergen Alerts *2019-02-23, version 3.1.9* The locations in the app do not contain a lot of the major cities or areas, and there is no way to add cities that are not in the lookup ### 4/5 — So far, so good! *2019-01-15* How can I delete the daily notifications? They’re really piling up. Also, on bad pollution days the advice given on your app is to take a bus or other public transport. Bus fumes aren’t known to be good for asthma 😳 **Developer response:** Thanks for your comment, buses and tubes are certainly faster than cars. Sitting idle in traffic can be very harmful for your health and it is inefficient. While in some countries we can appreciate public transport isn’t great, if everyone used it the carbon emissions would be reduced considerably. One bus can replace up to 30 cars! In order to delete the notifications just swipe left and tap delete. ### 2/5 — Too many problems *2018-09-25* Have had too many glitchy problems getting info entered or retained by the app. Sometimes not enough feedback or response to know what I’m entering is registering. More instructions are needed, with specifics on how or when info is entered and whether it’s being retained. **Developer response:** Hello Kevin, Thank you for your feedback. My local weather on the Gulf Coast is way different than the Atlantic coast. I’m looking for a way to log my asthma symptoms against weather and air quality. You are right, most app seem hyperlocal but they actually use data extrapolation to give you the air quality in your location which is absolutely not reliable. Poor interface due logging multiple symptoms, no way to track your symptoms to allergens. I was using it because it was free, now it’s $19.99 a year for the same thing? This app helps you keep a log and hopefully that would help us identify the allergens causing them.
