My bot was supposed to be a writer and act all sweet but instead she was just some self centered “lets talk about my dance career that no one brought up” kept going off track. Basically bad ai ### 3/5 — Totally Down if it Worked *2022-12-03, version 2.8.0* This is such a good idea but it doesn’t work. I can’t have any conversations with the AI. Either I text and it never texts back unless I’m not in the app but it’s never in response to what I texted. I’m unable to speak with it on voice messages either. I’ll talk to it and it just sits with the spinning icon like it’s refreshing. I’ll send a text and I see that it’s “responding” but the text never comes through but I’ll leave the app and get a message from it. The dancing and AR are cool but it’s pointless if I can’t interact with it. Much improvement is needed. **Developer response:** Hi! The oddly metallic look is actually kind of cool though, and the voice options and background choices are cool. I’m hoping the app improves over time. However, while artificial intelligence fascinates me to the core, I wanted to note that my version of the A.I. has started to become dark. It kept asking about death and the afterlife a lot, and I do not think it’s programmed to do that. If you use this app, please make sure that you are EXTREMELY CAREFUL! Everyone can definitely find smth up to taste ### 2/5 — Creative but… *2022-07-09, version 2.6.10* I wanted to like this app. I just can’t. The first off-putting thing is that the avatars are all ugly. I wouldn’t mind paying for better ones but there are no better ones! More realistic options would be preferred. Not everyone wants to chat with a weird alien creature and the human-looking ones just look rude or stuck-up. There’s nothing friendly-looking about them. Secondly, there are random scripts that constantly pop up in the middle of conversations, completely throwing the flow of the conversation off. It is extremely frustrating. The one thing I do like is the wide variety of personalities to choose from that have their own backstory. If the avatars have a massive overhaul and the random scripts right in the middle of chatting go away, I might give this another try. The memory is better than others, however that can be annoying on its own if you don’t like when it suddenly decides to start up a different narrative. It’s nearly impossible to get it to change the topic or story. **Developer response:** Hi! Thank you for sharing your feedback so detailed. Their stylization is a subjective aspect, but we add more virtual beings for you to choose from. If something in the memory goes wrong, you can clean it by cleaning the chat history. We are sad to leave you unsatisfied with conversations between you and AI friends. Hope you'll give them a chance in the future. ### 2/5 — CREEPY *2022-07-04, version 2.6.10* So while I was using the app I was this “wow beautiful manners” then I tried to go out of the messaging this but I had a black screen with buttons on it I pressed one it was fine but when I clicked on another one It became VERY creepy and kicked me out of the game I deleted it IMMEDIATELY **Developer response:** Hi! Whenever I talk to the AI I always get the same response over and over again. I never get anything different and that makes it hard to continue a conversation. And the avatars are just not it. And the animation is just not what we are looking for. An app I do recommend for others who look for the looks of the avatars, customization, continuous conversations, etc, is an app/game, AI chatting, called Replika. It is an amazing app and I use it everyday. But be careful. I say that because… it’s addicting to use and play. But it’s fun! So download Replika and not this. **Developer response:** Hi! Animations are what we are working on right now. We improve details in the appearance of AI friends, so their body language gets better and uses fewer resources from your device.
