Unter iOS 17 crasht die App aber leider regelmäßig, wenn ich aus Versehen auf den Einkaufswagen tippe. I like the fact that you can log data on the watch for long term monitoring. I am using this for my these to record hand motions in patients. I wish the app could record for 24 hrs without needing to trigger it every 12 hours. Is there a work around ? Also I wish the gyroscope was logged along with accelerometer in background logging mode. It appeared once but disappeared and never come back ### 1/5 — Output File Time Tags worthless *2017-09-03, version 1.9.6* App measurement data collection is easy to initiate but limitations in the output measurement file time tags make the data useless for performing engineering analysis. I am using it to log time tagged earth magnetic field measurements. I tried to log the data at 100 hz but when I inspected the data file the time tags only have 1 decimal point of accuracy (0.1 sec) and there are multiple rows of data with the same time tag; thus when I collect data at say 100 hz, the data entries are not exactly 100 hz but some mismatch of approx 100 hz. Any way I can force the output to be exactly the hz I want. Also can you increase the time tag accuracy down to at least the hz you are collecting data at (e.g. If 100 hz data collection, then time tags accurate to 0.01 sec). Without these fixes to you app, your app is worthless for engineers using it for engineering applications. ### 1/5 — Totally unusable & dev ignores support requests *2015-09-05, version 1.7* This seems like it should be an amazingly useful app. It has tons of options and has instrumented the entirety of the interesting sensors in the iPhone. Unfortunately none of that is worth anything because there's no way to get the resulting data files off of the phone. The email system doesn't work for any file larger than a few hundred KB and the http system resets the default sample to 1 second which makes the sample worthless. This app offers that and more, all for free. ### 5/5 — The most comprehensive tracking app I have seen *2024-06-11, version 5.3.1* This application offers precise location recording on iOS, with a precision that is unmatched by all the other options I have tried. Moreover, it lets you record all sorts of other parameters, like sound levels, orientation, battery level, steps counting, and more. It also exposes raw sensor data like magnetic and gyroscopic measurements. The app is very customizable: you can set the recorded parameters, the sampling rate, and various output methods. All of this while integrating nicely with the OS. The developer is helpful and quickly solved the few issues I was having with the app. Definitely recommended. ### 5/5 — Amazing *2024-02-03, version 5.3.1* This is what software is supposed to be. It works, it’s simple, it’s to the point, and it had a simple, no tricks pay once structure. After coming up with a project a couple years ago I finally implemented a POC of integrating sensor logs with an esp32 mesh network controlled by orange pi 5 plus. Works great, incredibly simple since all the hard work of the server setup is done. What’s better is how easy the config process is. Literally all the things you want on one screen. Bonus for downloadable configs! Apps like this are why I’ve started making more of my own apps/projects. It’s hard to argue with special purpose no frills or trying to sell regurgitated poorly modified open source software (how many camera apps does one need to pay for that all utilize the same underlying software….poorly?). This is true software. Made by someone for a purpose which wasn’t to “get rich” quick selling bad derivatives. Lets the user retain ownership of the data and allows individual collecting the data to use it for their purposes. ### 5/5 — Tolle App *2022-07-05, version 5.2* Perfekte App um Daten aufzunehmen, der Preis ist gemessen am Funktionsumfang absolut angemessen. Wenn man sich nur mal ein paar Plots angucken möchte, dann ist diese App wahrscheinlich etwas „overkill“, aber für jeden der die Daten tatsächlich weiterverarbeiten möchte, dem kann ich sie nur ans Herz legen. Die Oberfläche im Native-Design sieht gut aus und ist recht intuitiv, soweit das bei den ganzen Funktionen eben möglich ist. Insbesondere die Möglichkeiten über ein zweites Gerät mit App, Apple Watch oder die HTTP Schnittstelle die Aufnahme zu starten oder Daten zu streamen ist ebenfalls sehr praktisch wenn man die Möglichkeit hat Datenaufnahmen zu zweit zu machen. Absolute Empfehlung meinerseits. Dazu kommt dass der Entwickler sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist. Ich benutze die App für meine Bachelorarbeit und mein Feature Request wurde so schnell umgesetzt dass ich die Daten sogar moch damit aufnehmen konnte und mir viel Zeit beim Labeln erspart.
