### 4/5 — Great little sensor

*2026-04-06, version 4.4.2*

Love this thing, I like to use it for weather, so it would be nice if you could track the rate of change on the sensor data, would be helpful in determining rapidly changing conditions.

### 2/5 — Technically

*2026-03-14, version 4.4.2*

Pros/Cons. I bought 3 of them in the middle of last year . Around 07/2025 . Just lay around somewhere in my shops . Today’s humidity and hot temperatures. So i couldn’t revive to any of the sensor push. Lookalikes all dead. Replace batteries already. None of them worked as all . . Any help pls. Inputting. Thanks’s all . Be safe out there.

### 2/5 — Does not send alert

*2026-03-08*

I’ve been using the gateway and sensors for years and when I first set them up, they would alert me when the temp left the desired range. Today was the first day in over 2 years where my fridge hit a temp outside the range and the app did not send a message to my phone. All the settings look correct but nothing triggered. The app confirms the temp has never reached this high before but now I’m questioning if this sensor was ever actually protecting me. I use this to monitor expensive medication in my fridge and now I’m a bit worried it reached its upper limit. Super frustrating

**Developer response:** That does sound frustrating. There is likely some setting or configuration that needs adjusted. Definitely reach out the Help link on our website and someone the engineering team can take a look into this for you.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks!
SensorPush

### 4/5 — Great Product

*2025-12-01, version 4.4.1*

Great product although I wish I could display its readings on an iPhone widget and add it to my Apple Watch as an app.

### 3/5 — Limited calibration capabilities

*2025-09-28*

The app is actually pretty great as far as how it works, but the calibration option for their sensors are limited. You can only apply an offset. However, their expensive sensors’ humidity readings start drifting in a linear fashion after a few months, so a simple calibration won’t cut it (reads 40% at 30%, reads 65% at 60%, reads 80% at 80%). Contacted support months ago but didn’t receive any indication on their part that they’d fix this, and they still haven’t. All they would have to do is allow proper calibrstion, even just in the app

**Developer response:** We apologize that you have not received a reply to your service request. Please reach out to support@sensorpush.com and be sure to check your spam or junk-mail folders for our reply. We pride oursevles on our customer service and would be happy to help.

### 4/5 — Alert Settigs

*2025-07-04, version 4.1.5*

One shortcoming is that the alerts are triggered the instant a temperature setting is reached. This creates many unnecessary alerts since a cooler may temporarily rise above setting during heavy use or defrost. Please create an option that triggers an alert after a set period of time above the maximum or minimum temp.

### 3/5 — Pretty good but needs some updating

*2025-01-31, version 4.1.1*

The hardware is rock solid and the batteries last forever and a day.

What needs a facelift is the app. You can see from the update history the app gets no love. An Apple Watch app would be awesome. Ordering devices in the display would be nice. Come on guys your probably have a million of these out in the field. You can do better.

### 3/5 — App Needs Improvement

*2025-01-03, version 4.1*

Love the device and Gateway, however the app needs a way to adjust the text size and color of the text. The green text and light gray text are difficult to see with the white background.

### 2/5 — No notifications

*2024-12-31, version 4.1*

It doesn't work like it used to, have to open the app and refresh a few times before it updates. Also it hardly finds the senson anymore.

### 4/5 — Isn’t alerting correctly anymore

*2024-12-26, version 4.1*

Sometimes it alerts me, sometimes it doesn’t. The issue it that I need it to alert me. If my incubator goes above 85, deformities can happen. Just woke up to it at 87, and no alert. Alerts have been messed up for months.

### 4/5 — Great Hardware - App Just OK

*2024-12-21*

Hardware is awesome. It just WORKS. The app could use some help. Like being able to set my own graph scaling instead of setting upper and lower limits based on recent actual temperatures. You cannot manually set the display order, but I do 1.xxx, 2.xxx to have it sort the way I want. And an iPhone widget! I put in a feature request several YEARS ago, it never happened. I would think that would be a pretty popular one.
The hardware really is good, though.

**Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out! We have shared this request with our developers. Please feel free to forward your suggestions as well via email to our development team at support@sensorpush.com.

### 4/5 — Please add Widgets

*2024-11-24, version 4.1*

Please add Widgets.

### 4/5 — SensorPush app pros and cons

*2024-07-16*

PRO: The SensorPush app displays readings as current, and in hour, day, week, month and year. Each device can be set with upper and lower limits with alerts and will change the color of the part of the graph above or below the limits to red. When used with the gateway, data can be accessed via the Internet and there is a dedicated web page.
CON: The devices cannot be sorted manually (but are sorted alphabetically). The biggest con is when viewing device history the app ALWAYS defaults to hour. This unnecessarily causes frustration when switching between devices to see e.g. day or week view and it always reverts to hour view. I’ve contacted support twice about this easy to fix problem, but the issue still remains in the app.

### 4/5 — I own 6 sensors and 2 gateways

*2024-04-02, version 4.0.14*

The app is clean and functional. Would like to see HomeKit integration without changing hardware. Would also like the ability to view multiple sensor data superimposed on one graph within the app. Would be a 5 star product with these features added.

### 3/5 — Sensor good, app ok

*2024-03-05, version 4.0.14*

The digital temperature is in increments of .1 F and the humidity as well but the graph is increments of .01 but the unit is only accurate within a couple degrees and the humidity within 3%. It looks unnecessary. Opening the app you need to trick it to refresh data.

### 3/5 — Really needs widgets

*2024-02-03, version 4.0.14*

Together with the gateway, the sensors and app work well, with one major flaw: If a sensor stops reporting, the gateway should detect the problem, triggering the app to notify the user with an alert. As it is, you have to launch the app to see a red warning message.

Also, there’s no way to see current temperature/humidity/pressure or history on home screens or lock screens. Both types of widgets are sorely needed.

### 4/5 — Bessere App wäre gut

*2024-01-22*

Eigendefinition einer Ober und Untergrenze implementieren. Wäre übersichtlicher.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Weatherman

*2026-07-08, version 4.5.9*

Nice but bought this since November 2021 it quit working less than 2 years ago. I’m disappointed high cost. I tried to reboot my iPhone, repeat add device to get connected to Bluetooth. Deleted this app and reinstalled no approved nothing works. Replace fresh battery still not working. It not worthy to spend money and short warranty. It should lasts a lot longer. Thanks a lot guys made in USA. 👎🏻

### 1/5 — Suddenly crashes EVERY time

*2026-04-13, version 4.4.2*

These things were great for the longest time. I probably have 20 of them. Suddenly, today, after replacing the battery in one temperature sensor, the entire app loads and crashes loads and crashes loads and crashes. sigh

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2026-03-23, version 4.4.2*

Unfortunately all sensors stopped working. First it was older models. Now all of them do not work. When you remove and add a sensor, it gets one sample and then fails to update. All of them get stuck with one sample.

### 1/5 — Alerts don’t trigger a notification

*2026-03-18, version 4.4.2*

It doesn’t send notifications anymore when out of range. Very disappointing and makes it useless.

### 1/5 — Sensor good. App no good

*2025-06-02, version 4.1.5*

I need to log in and forget my password. Every time I enter my email and click forget password I get this message - The operation couldn't be completed. (com.cousins-sears.BeaconTher-mometer. ErrorDomain error 1013.)

### 1/5 — You need to be within Bluetooth distance?! Garbage!

*2025-04-22, version 4.1.5*

In order to be alerted remotely, you can’t just configure this to send the signal through your WiFi. You must buy their WiFi gateway. So basically you just paid 50$ for a thermometer that only reached your phone. Sucker born every minute!

### 1/5 — Bad quality and service

*2024-08-13, version 4.0.14*

Sensor stopped working after a while. Humidity stuck at 100%. Emailed customer service but no reply.

### 1/5 — Exceptional app for my needs.

*2023-04-08, version 4.0.14*

I have a sensor in my crawlspace to monitor temperature and relative humidity so I can adjust the dehumidifier. The sensor and app work perfectly. The app especially is thoughtful and gives me the information that guy want and need in a very usable fashion. A+++

### 1/5 — Runs in background, drains phone battery

*2022-12-09*

It’s a nice looking app and the data collection from the sensors is exemplary. However, the app constantly runs in the background unless you force quit it and uses quite a bit of battery while doing nothing. This would be understandable if you had alerts on (otherwise, how would it know to alert you to new values?), but this happens even when all alerts are turned off. There is no way to disable this behavior besides them suggesting turning Bluetooth off, which is ridiculous since the sensors are Bluetooth. Other Bluetooth apps do not constantly drain battery in the background, so this can only be laziness on the developer’s part to disable this backgrounding behavior when all alerts are turned off.

### 1/5 — %%

*2022-07-21, version 4.0.11*

For heaven sake, ask your programmer not to use an extra % for humidity notification!

It’s not that difficult - you know!

Basically, looking at your source code, your developer needs to drop % because it’s already there!

Or, maybe your entire company’s staffs need to double check their glasses!

### 5/5 — Keeps my MotorHome safe

*2025-08-25*

Freezing is an issue with motorhomes. Rather than winterize and de-winterize each season I keep 3 SensorPush units in the living room, bedroom, and basement water bay. A G1 gateway connects them to the MotorHome WiFi internet connection. I can see at any time from home on the app what’s going on and if the temperature is approaching freezing. Reliable and accurate. Love my SensorPush.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking a moment to comment! We appreciate your feedback.

### 5/5 — Potential Feature?

*2025-01-20, version 4.1*

Amazing App, Sensors, and API however it would be nice to only alert if leaving just the high or low limit instead of both or even set a separate extreme temp to trigger an alert.

### 5/5 — WISH LIST

*2024-07-28, version 4.0.14*

Please consider making a widget and adding CarPlay integration. I have 5 of your sensors in my van one in the fridge, one in the freezer, one in the electrical cabinet, and one for general temp. It would be great to see states when driving and/or looking at my phone so I don’t need to open the app.

### 5/5 — Problem solved

*2024-03-18, version 4.0.14*

I had serious issues with my system but, following the filing on a complaint, I received a call back from Sensor push and they are in the process of fixing the issue.
A customer service number would still be nice

### 5/5 — I like it

*2023-10-18, version 4.0.14*

I bought this because I wanted to have a record of the room temp through the night. I know what the a/c is supposed to be doing, but I wanted to see what it actually does. Now I know — the temp in my room stays pretty close to the set temp.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-08-26, version 4.0.14*

I recently got ☝🏻 of these & I love it improved my growing conditions in the first hour, being able to see on a chart and adjusting from there is a big improvement for me.

Recommendations. Add another color to the chart for high points & Co2 readings.

### 5/5 — TemperaturKontrolle Gastronomie

*2022-12-08*

### 5/5 — Works Great

*2022-09-26*

My only complaint is that to truly utilize the sensors true potential, you have to add another item with the gateway for Wi-Fi access. With that being said, I have my sensor in my detached garage, and I can still get a reading from inside my house 50’ feet away, through walls and air…..that’s pretty dang good for a Bluetooth device! Also, anybody complaining about their phone dying because they have to have their Bluetooth on? Well, you should probably get a new phone……it’s not going to drain your battery by opening the app every once in awhile to check your conditions with the sensor, and there’s really no need to be staring at any monitor 24/7 if you have a correct setup to control whatever environment you’re monitoring…….

### 5/5 — Nice app works well!

*2022-01-14*

I have been using the hardware gateway with several Bluetooth sensors around my house for the last six months. It does a good job collecting and logging data and because the sensors also have internal storage it can catch up with missing data if a sensor has an temporarily goes out of range. The app is stable and has nice graphing and data export features. One thing of note is if you install the app on a new device or haven’t used the app in a while then when you open the app it has to download all the previous history data until it catches up with the current day. This can take quite a while and will become more noticeable over time (especially if you have several sensors). It would be better if it was able to download the most recent day first an prior days in the background.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to comment! Please feel free to reach out any time directly via email to our development team at support@sensorpush.com.

### 5/5 — Excellent Product and App

*2021-12-26, version 4.0.9*

Frankly, this is faultless. If I had the knowledge and ability to have done this I’d have wished to do exactly what you have.

The sensors are just beautifully minimal. That hides the obvious technology within to be so accurate. But the app must get a special mention too. Just wonderful!
