## What is Sensory Budget?

Out of energy by 3pm? Sensory Budget shows what today will cost you, so you can pace it before you run out. Made for ADHD, autistic and sensory-sensitive people, and anyone whose energy runs out partway through the day.

It's spoon theory, counted for you. You start each day with so many spoons (the idea is Christine Miserandino's), and everything spends some. The app reads your calendar, your sleep and how your days actually went, and gives you one number from 0 to 100.

Built around what drains you
Noise, crowds, bright and busy spaces, back-to-back meetings, social time, switching between tasks, sudden changes, commuting, long stretches of focus. Tell it which ones hit you hardest and it prices every event with them in mind. With an Apple Watch, it reads the sound levels Health records (levels only, never audio) and learns how much a loud day really costs you.

What you get
• Your day in one number, with the reason behind it.
• A cost on every event, and a heads-up before the heavy stretch or when a loud afternoon is adding up.
• Breaks found in the gaps you already have, and a rest timer on your Lock Screen.
• Drives and commutes that aren't on your calendar, noticed and counted if you allow Motion & Fitness.
• Optional AI features, off until you allow them: a daily note with tips for the day, like what to bring, and help sorting events the phone can't place.
• The week ahead, so a new plan can go on a lighter day.
• A 30 or 90 day summary to share with a doctor, therapist or workplace.
• A ready-made message for when you're low on spoons.
• Widgets, Siri and a Focus filter.
• Made for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo: the wide screens show your day and its details side by side.

It learns you
It starts from what is typical and gets more accurate the longer you use it. A one-word check-in each evening and a quick rating of a couple of events a day teach it what really costs you, so the numbers become yours. No wearable needed; an Apple Watch or ring in Health makes the morning sharper.

Your data
Scoring, learning and Health readings stay on your iPhone or iPad. AI features are optional and off until you allow them. If you do, the whole calendar event goes through our servers to Anthropic to write your daily note, and titles with names removed help sort events the phone can't place. Usage analytics are on by default in the US and asked first elsewhere, never with titles or Health readings, and you can turn them off in Privacy & data. No account needed, and you can export or delete everything.

Not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything; it shows an estimate you can correct. If how you feel worries you, talk to a doctor.

Sensory Budget Pro includes everything, for $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year. When a free trial is offered, the subscription screen shows its length before you start. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, or when a free trial ends, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends.
