## What is Sensus?

YOUR DAILY MOVEMENT READ
Every morning, see how ready you are to move today, and where. Not a zone called legs: the muscle group itself, and how recovered. Your sport decides which muscles come first. Built from your sleep, HRV, recent training and how you feel, with every factor ranked by the points it is worth. Know which days to push and which to protect.

FEEL VS YOUR DATA
Sensus starts where every sensor stops: how your body actually FEELS. When the two don't line up, stiff while your signals read strong, or great when they're low, Sensus surfaces it. That gap is where the most useful insight lives.

YOUR STAFF
Elite athletes have a team reading their body daily. Now you have one. A performance seat, a physio seat and a recovery seat, each answering a different question about the same day, with the research behind it. Ask any of them anything, grounded in your history. They are roles, never people, and they never clear you to train. One will tell you to go and see someone, because knowing when to hand you over is part of the job. Only the seat leading your day speaks, so you get one thing to do.

THE READ THAT GRADES ITSELF
Every read is a call, and Sensus holds itself to it. Next morning it checks back: what did you do, and how did it land? Trained through a caution and woke up tender? The read had it. It shows how often it has been right, and sharpens with every close.

YOUR DAILY PROGRAM
Under your read, one short session for your day, shaped by your training and any plan your practitioner shared. Then a quick check: did it help? Over time it learns what helps you. Wellness movement, never a prescription.

YOUR TRAINING LOAD
Your training by week, against your own previous twelve. Not a target, and not other people's average. Your own normal. If your watch missed a session, add it in one tap and rate the effort in words, not numbers. Rest days count.

MOVEMENT CAPACITY
After you train, Sensus tracks each muscle group back to ready. Honest qualitative states, never a fake recovery score.

THE CONSENSUS
The research for the areas people hurt: how common it is, what sets it off, what helps, and how recovery goes. As more people log how they feel, patterns from people who move like you sharpen it.

PERSONALISED TO YOUR SPORT
Tell Sensus your sport and point in the season, and it tunes what it watches and how it talks to you. Add what you train in and the surfaces you play on, and a linked practitioner sees it. Sensus records it and leaves the judgement to them.

YOUR WEEKLY READ & BODY BRIEFS
A visual read of your week: what you called right before the data did, what eased, where you're recovered, and what Sensus learned. Plus a body brief that cuts through a health myth, and a summary for your GP.

APPLE HEALTH & WEARABLES
Works with any wearable that writes to Apple Health: Whoop, Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Polar and more. Sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, steps, SpO2, all correlated with how you actually feel. Apple Health measures. Sensus understands.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Your health data stays on your device and only leaves if YOU choose to share it: anonymised patterns with the community, or your progress with a practitioner you link. No ads. No data selling. Ever.

WHO SENSUS IS FOR
Active people connecting how they train with how they feel. Anyone recovering from injury, managing pain or stiffness, or carrying a niggle they want a straight read on.

BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO NEEDED IT
Built by an Exercise Science student and former athlete who broke her collarbone and came back with no one watching how she recovered. Elite athletes have physios, strength coaches and sports scientists whose job is to spot the week that got away. She had nobody, and no way to see it herself. That absence is why Sensus is a staff, not a score.

DISCLAIMER: Sensus is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.10.13 — 2026-09-02

Your club's schedule now asks.
If your club has put its training week into Sensus, one question arrives on the evenings your squad trained or played: did you train today. Tapping it opens straight to the answer, and either answer keeps your week accurate.

It exists because a session you never logged is a week Sensus cannot read properly, and until now the only way to add one was to go looking for it.
One question per evening, never more, and it never assumes you were there.

### 1.10.12 — 2026-08-31

Your club's week, in the app.
If your club, school or clinic uses Sensus, you can now see their schedule on the Club tab: the training days they run and the fixtures they have imported. When something is still recovering, the card shows how it is tracking against your next match, so you can see what is likely to clear in time and what is not.

It never tells you whether you are ready, fit, available or selected. That is your club's call and yours.

Also in this release:

Your readiness score and your per muscle recovery read now reach a practitioner you have linked, alongside what already went to them. Nothing new is shared with anyone else, and neither is contributed to the community. Our Privacy Policy and Terms were updated on 30 August to say exactly what goes and what stays on your device.

A muscle you have flagged now reads "Ease off" rather than "Aggravated", which is the word the rest of the app already used.
The note on your daily read now says plainly that staff at your club can see it, rather than naming one person.

Adding a session by hand on the Load screen is easier to find.

### 1.10.11 — 2026-08-28

Your daily read got sharper.

A muscle used to score the same whether it was two hours into recovering or twenty. Sensus already knew the difference and showed it on the muscle tile. Now your read uses it, so your number moves with your recovery instead of stepping between fixed points.

Your physio seat speaks more plainly on a sore day too. It names the soreness rather than talking around it, and still draws the line between being sore and having a problem.

On your read detail, the track record now says what it actually measures: how often the read matched how you told us you felt.

One thing to expect: your readiness trend takes a few reads to rebuild, so every point on it is measured the same way.

### 1.10.10 — 2026-08-27

Tell Sensus what the injury actually is.

If you are carrying an injury, you can now say what it is in your own words, for each area, and roughly when it started. If a physio or a coach named it, you can say that too.

Your staff uses it. The physio speaks about your actual injury rather than a body part, and shows you where you sit against how long this kind of thing usually takes. It marks time elapsed only. It never gives you a recovery date.

Your linked club or clinic sees your description, so you are not explaining the same thing twice. When it started stays on your phone.

An injured day has a session again. If you are carrying something, your staff now hands you one safe thing that works around it, instead of leaving the day empty.

You can always reach your club. The message door used to appear only once your club had shared a plan. It is there whenever you are linked, so you can send a note and read a reply any time.

### 1.10.9 — 2026-08-24

Say it in your own words.
After you mark the map, there is now a note. It is optional, it never replaces the parts you tap, and nothing waits on it. Some things do not fit a body map, and the words you would actually use are worth keeping. If you have a practitioner linked, they see what you wrote beside the map you marked.

And you can change today's read.
Reopen the map, change what you marked or what you wrote, and send it again. It replaces today's answer rather than adding a second one, so your history and your streak stay honest.

Your number should move more than it used to.
Sleep, heart rate variability and resting heart rate were being worked out and then set aside for anyone Sensus had no training to read, so a rough night and a good one could land on the same number. They reach your read now. If you wear something overnight and did not train, today should look different from yesterday.

Tap a muscle group on your read.
Each one opens into why it got the number it did, roughly how long until it clears, and what the research says about that area. It hands you no exercise. It explains.

Also in this one
Twice a week Sensus brings you one finding from the research behind the Consensus, picked for the areas you log and the sport you play. Facts about groups of people, never a claim about your body.

The recovery read after a workout now arrives when it should. It was only reaching you if the app happened to still be running.
Your staff says when a seat has changed its call, not only when two seats disagree. A score cannot change its mind, because it never committed to anything.

And if you share with a practitioner, the details on their screen stopped quietly going stale.
