### 3/5 — Great App | Missing Features | Has Bugs

*2020-12-17, version 6.4*

All in all, this is a great application. Thank you for taking the time to work on this and provide this to the community.

While using this app on the 2020 ipad pro running ios 14.3 I had issues where the app would crash after working on a document for a while then clicking the export option. This resulted in a loss of data.

Feature Request: Undo Button... please.

### 4/5 — Great for meetings

*2018-03-09, version 5.3*

This app is simple and flexible enough to use live in meetings and send round to participants straight away. Good-bye photos of post-its stuck to flip charts! I just wish I could use in on a Mac too.

### 3/5 — IPad Pro support

*2016-07-24, version 5.0*

Please add iPad Pro resolution support and Apple Pencil support.

### 4/5 — Fantastic App

*2014-12-04, version 4.1*

Have been using this app for quite awhile now, find it very useful, and the support I have had to be top notch...

### 4/5 — Love it for what I need

*2014-11-17, version 4.1*

I have used this for about 6 months now, and love it as it lets me chart our processes and identify opportunities for improvement. easy to use.

### 3/5 — Easy tool to get used to

*2014-11-07, version 4.1*

Simple, only thing I don't get is how to nest activities or layer activities... If it's there it's not intuitive

### 4/5 — Good start

*2014-10-02, version 3.4*

I really like the simplicity of this app. You can generate process flow charts very easily and quickly - great for a novice process mapper like me. But it crashes when I try to view in swim lane view, which is frustrating. I hope enough people purchase this app to encourage its development - it has potential to be great.

### 5/5 — Simple Flows

*2014-07-28, version 3.4*

Easy to learn, easy to use, simple!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-06-07, version 3.4*

As an Operations/Manufacturing professional this App is the tool that allows you to make significant change and process improvement. Highly recommended!

### 4/5 — Process Modeller

*2014-04-28, version 3.4*

Speedy and efficient way to get a process from mind to soft copy.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-04-24, version 3.4*

Fantastic app for process diagrams.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-04-18, version 3.4*

Better price than others for a great app that does anything you'd need to capture processes on the go.

Small bug linking lite version to purchase full but no issues on reinstall

Great job :))

### 5/5 — Very good process modeling App

*2014-03-05, version 3.3*

This is a very effective App for easily documenting processes.

I love its ability to capture more than just the flowchart (i.e. the person responsible, additional details, process objective, etc.). I also love the fact that it can easily optimize your chart and produce various forms of it automatically. I find it better than OmniGraffle because it is tailored specifically for flow-charting.

I also love the many options available when you export the flowchart. It's ability to generate a report with all of the documentation is just fabulous.

The primary thing I would like to see somehow work a little different is more readable charts when it draws them automatically. When the lines cross each other, it becomes a little hard to follow.

Another nice thing would be a process start and terminating symbol (skinny oval is the standard symbol for that). I am currently using the trigger/result instead and it's really not a problem.

Overall, this is a very impressive App. Hat's off to the developer and I hope to see a few improvements going forward.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2014-02-10, version 3.3*

Been using process modeller for 2weeks now. For simple, effective and easy to create flow charts it is fantastic.

Best feature is the optimise button, you just roughly organise your boxes and lines, press optimise and you have a professional looking chart.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unable to use on Ipad

*2021-04-17, version 6.4*

Had great expectations for this but unable to type anything into the cards or process labels.

### 1/5 — process modeller

*2013-01-25, version 1.2*

WARNING avoid at all costs .... four hours work lost because this software didn't save the new file

second attempt - ditto

### 1/5 — Bad

*2013-01-11, version 1.1*

Don't waste your money. You have been warned.

### 1/5 — Review

*2012-12-16, version 1.1*

It's good but could be a lot better.. I wanted to use this in my work as a business process modeller but the app isn't able enough.. I have a particular issue with the app's inability to illustrate multiple decision points.. It is very limited indeed. Some of the free modelling apps are as good if not better.. I thought with a fee of nearly 8 quid, I would be paying for a comprehensive package that would enable me to produce really good models.. It's an app that will produce a simple view of a process but I'm afraid that's all...!
If the app was improved to draw multiple decision points, joins and mergers, it would be a nifty app and worth the money.

### 1/5 — A disappointment

*2012-07-07, version 0.9*

Auto draw works horribly.
Swim lanes are jumbled when you reopen a project.
Export options are limited and resultant reports can look very different than expected. Created map is altered in the exported PDF.
A good idea.......gone bad

### 2/5 — okay - needs further updates

*2015-03-24, version 4.2*

The app has potential, needs further updates. Symbols and elements can't be updated, also no delete button exits for symbols or mistakes. Not as good as Lucidchart, but much cheaper and basic. Hope the developer gets things right in next update.

### 2/5 — Just not quite the polished article

*2013-10-19, version 3.2.2*

I've used Process Modeller on a number of occasions and whilst it's "ok" I'm really looking for something that is truly easy to use and give me the visual gratification from my input efforts. However, I feel as if there is a lot of effort on my part creating the process but the visual reward is unappealing requiring lots of 'tweaking' to make the process flow look good whilst maintaining the logic.
Summary: it's ok but you may find better use of your time with a piece of paper and a pencil.

### 2/5 — Has great potential

*2013-09-17, version 3.2*

This app can help you draw a flowchart quickly as its interface is really good. It does need work as its connectors often don't connect where you want them to, or expect them to! The optimise doesn't optimise but makes bizarre connections and I would not recommend it. There is no way to select multiple objects to move them together. There is no text feature or title feature to title, date or text on the drawing page. Exporting as MS Visio is not bad, I have always had to make changes, and the objects are often missing their connection points, especially the diamond object, which will not allow you to add connection points in MS Visio? PDF export for me produced a jumbled diagram.

This app has great potential, but is not really ready for sale. I hope the programmers persist, they have a potentially great product.

### 2/5 — Naming process step does not work

*2012-10-13, version 1.0*

I was very excited about finally finding a great app to map processes. Once installed I tested with a simple process. It was very disappointing when each time I tried to name a step in the process the app kicked me out.

### 2/5 — Wish there was a save feature

*2012-08-26, version 1.0*

The developer should know that there would be a need to save processes, as they change over time and the need to change them does not end with the print or email the images. Hopefully, they will update to add this feature to what I find to be a well constructed app.

### 5/5 — Process Modeler Excels!

*2026-02-24, version 6.4*

I have become a true fan of Sensus Process Modeler. I have been at this for decades and this is hands down the best purpose-driven, all-around process flowcharting/ process mapping/modeling tool that I have encountered to date. Uses a business centric proprietary flowchart symbol set.

Easy to use, cross platform, right-priced tool. Creates flowchart based swim lanes in vertical or horizontal format and my preferred visual, a single horizontal process flow with actor/performer labels adjacent to the task/activity.

Draw once, click to change between the three chart formats. Very easy to navigate, create charts quickly with minimal effort. Create charts on the big screen, in real time, with your team in tow.

### 5/5 — Quick and easy process modeller

*2019-07-09*

Awesome app so easy and output looks great

### 5/5 — So Easy to Use

*2018-11-26, version 5.3*

I have this on my iPad so I can get work done when I have a few spare minutes. It’s great and it links nicely with MS Visio at work.

### 5/5 — Love it, but it's limited

*2017-08-22, version 5.3*

I use this app quite a bit, and love it. Great interface. I do wish it had more shapes and color choices.

### 5/5 — Straightforward and effective

*2017-06-02, version 5.3*

This is a simple app to document processes. I particularly like the formatting and PDF outputs that allow me to review and validate processes with a wider community.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2016-10-11, version 4.7*

Fabulous app which helps us communicate the processes we use internally and externally

### 5/5 — Good for the price

*2016-09-04, version 5.0*

For the price it's fine, has a few shortcomings when compared to Visio but again, look at the price. I find i can do a quick and dirty version on the iPad on the plane then refine on the desktop. Worth it? Yes.

### 5/5 — Invaluable process mapping scratchpad

*2016-05-16, version 4.7*

Simple to use, intuitive and an all round asset to anyone capturing processes in the field

### 5/5 — Almost perfect for quick process mapping

*2016-03-03, version 4.6*

Love the app! Super easy to use. Just missing the ability to connect more than three incoming processes to a single process. I've used Visio and allClear and this app works better because of its portability and being able to work out processes on the spot with users and showing them how it's represented. Great tool.

### 5/5 — A good process modeler

*2015-10-13, version 4.3*

...or a flow diagrammer for the rest of us.

If you're looking for an app to help you get your thoughts together, this is for you. Is not complicated but does a good job getting your $/!? together and generating some reports out as you start out on a new project.
