Regarding operational matters, on occasions where delays occurred due to an accident on the road or extreme weather, I communicated proactively; while onsite staff acknowledged these situations with understanding, they were later documented negatively. Finally, in contrast to other schools where bell systems are standard, this school lacked a visible bell system and did not provide this information in advance, which caused initial confusion. Ultimately, it appears Senya will only consider the official reviews provided by the school, regardless of the context. I always asked for feedback whenever possible and always implemented the feedback immediately. Most of the feedback received was genuinely good. There was very little correction when needed. From the moment I opened the app, it’s been so easy to use. The interface is intuitive and smooth, and I can quickly find and manage job opportunities without any stress. One of my favorite things is how configurable the job preferences are. I’ve set up Senya so I only see the substitute teaching jobs that actually matter to me, whether that’s certain grade levels, schools, or travel distance. It makes browsing opportunities way more efficient. And honestly, the bonus structure is awesome! I love how I get rewarded for the effort I put in. The more I book and complete, the better my earnings get. It’s nice to see my hard work reflected in my paychecks. This app is way more up to date and user friendly than a lot of other similar subbing apps. The customer service is really quick to respond if there are ever any issues. Schools are great! The people and the schools that I work with have been great. You do have to check the app a couple of times a day but it makes it exciting for every time you open it. ### 1/5 — Joke of a company! Zero help *2025-12-13, version 1.2.9* No help for subs. Held to a higher expectation than teachers, yet you are a sub! Most teacher dress like Adam Sandler, yet I have to have slacks and collared shirts. I dress better than the Principals in their cargos. Worse part is you sign up for a 7th grade math class and the school just plugs you into a 1st class with 4 pages of scheduled work and recess duty. Yet they ding you if you don’t get everything done. Zero help with discipline or “hard” students. And you can’t cancel or say no to the switch; or if you do get a school to cancel the job, there are no other jobs left. Worse part is schools and teachers can review you or say what they want about you and you are guilty … period. They won’t even tell you what they said or what you did. Plus the new system, if you don’t log in before 6am, you get zero jobs. You also can’t see all the jobs available, you get put in a line? And they show you one job at a time and if you decline, you get moved the back of the line! Ridiculous! Stay clear! ### 2/5 — Baffled *2025-12-03, version 1.2.9* You lose job opportunities if you don’t accept in 15 minutes. Sometimes jobs don’t pop up for a whole week, even with my notifications on, so I suddenly don’t get any jobs. The details in the app say months with breaks get higher points for jobs because there are less days to work, but November had the same amount of tier points as the other months, even with Thanksgiving break, so I got “downgraded” to a lower tier. Disappointed. ### 1/5 — If you cancel assignments your never allowed to work again *2025-12-01, version 1.2.9* We are humans too and have work alot of the sub teachers are students too we have classes just bcz we cancelled assignments we can never get a job again thats terrible.
