Seoul Subway App is developed by Seoul Metro which operates Line No.1~8 of subways in Seoul to enhance convenience of foreign subway users in Seoul. This app enables foreign travelers to use a subway without inconvenience from boarding, transit to arrival of a train by receiving location-based information. 

Detailed features are as follows. 
▴ search a route by station name, No. and destination 
▴ display real-time train information by station or line 
▴ provide information of subway stations, notification of arrival station, congestion level of a train based on the current location 
▴ receive a situation alarm in case of the delay of a train  
▴ receive a guide service to find restrooms within a station, exits and transit. 
▴ provide information on tourism attractions around a station and subway line map for Seoul’s famous tourism destinations 

The app is easy and convenient to use with simple design and configuration.

Update: Quick response from developers, stilling awaiting the fix to below issue. Will update to 5 stars when fixed. 

Everyone you tap Line 1 in Real Time it crashes.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused while checking real-time train information in the app. We have identified an issue where the app unexpectedly crashes when checking real-time train information for certain lines, and we are currently working on a fix. This app used to be useful to me on a daily basis. Now the developers have forced an invasive update that demands privacy violating information like my present location.  I will delete this app and never use it again. You don’t get to demand my information. EVER.

Location permission is required in our app to accurately provide information about nearby stations.

Please be assured that your location data is only processed when you actively use features like "Find My Location". No data is transmitted to our servers when the app is not in use, and there is absolutely no unauthorized collection or tracking of personal information.

We are reviewing options to make the app usable without location permissions in the future. We will keep working hard to improve our app. Thank you.

I have used this app for years, but just recently it gives me a pop up saying I need to have location on- it takes me to settings and I change the permissions- but it still won’t let me use the app. Deleting and redownloading has not worked.

지연증명서, 서행 정보 같은거 웹사이트로 날리지 말고 앱 안에서 해결할 수 있었으면 좋겠어요

그리고 역 즐겨찾기 할때마다 교통약자 어쩌구 나오는거 - 안나오게도 설정 바꿀 수 있게 옵션 제공해주세요

뭔가 넣으라고 해서 기능 억지로 넣긴 넣었는데 어떻게 해야 Ui ux 가 퍈해질지는 고민 안한 느낌입니다

민원접수를 어플내에서 바로 할 수 잇는게 아니라 어쨋든 메세지로 이동해서 열차번호 및 민원내용을 한번 더 작성 해야만 하는게 뭐하자는거지 싶었음. 그리고 도착역 일림 설정 해놔도 알림 자체가 실행이 안됨. 일림 켜져있는데;; 그래도 다른 어플에 비해 열차 들어오는 시간은 꽤 잘 맞는 편이긴 함. 근데 이렇게 어플 만들어놓고 뭐가 불편한지 꾸준히 얘기 하는데도 끝까지 수정 안하는건 국민들이랑 기싸움 하는거임..??

안좋은 평이 많은데 기본적인 노선도 보는 화면은 이 앱이 제일 편하네요. 
전에 쓰던 앱은 실행할때마다 업데이트 창이 떴는데 여긴 그런 거 없고… 경로 확인하면 노선도에서 바로 뜨고 빠른 환승칸도 같이 표시돼서 편해요.

혼잡도 볼 수 있다고 해서 다운받았는데 한 개도 없네....

1~8호선에 타고있어야한다고 위치 제대로 못잡는게 너무 심해요. 심지어 몇년이 지났는데 이걸 아직도 못고쳤다는게 더 신기하구요.
한번 접속했을 때 해당오류 뜨면 재접할 때 까지 절대로 위치를 못잡아냅니다.

이걸 이전에도 남걌는데 여전히 안고쳤네.. 도대체 서비스하는 이유가뭐냐.. 이거만든 외주업체 개발자는 반성해라

위치도 제대로 못잡아서 칸번호 직접 쓰라는데 열차에 일일히 번호가 쓰여있는게 아니라 매번 포기하는게 다반수에요.그리고 이놈의 거지같은 4호선은 왜 맨날 지하철 타려고만 하면 곧 도착한다면서 그냥 지나쳐가나요?제대로 시간표가 나와있는것도 아니고 진짜 거지같아요.출근길이나 약속시간에 이럴때는 진짜 화 개나요.어플이나 좀 똑바로 만드세요
