I added the key to my linux machine and re initialized pass. However, when trying to decrypt a password in this app, I get an error that says the encrypted file is malformed (packet header high bit is not set). Any help?

I think it is because I always ascii encrypt my gpg files. However, the extension on my password store files is .gpg. I think this program believes that they are a binary file and therefore trying to decrypt it as such. Perhaps you could get the mimetype of the file and check that to determine what method in which decryption should occur
