I don’t have access to the email I used when I was like 13 for my ‘beauty insider.’ When you purchase in store they ask for your number for your points so I don’t understand the inconsistency with the website. I can’t even track my orders but still get vague notifications that my item has shipped because I have to physically go to the store to purchase and it adds the purchase to my account history. The app also always logs me out randomly like stop. Then every time I say I forgot my password to hopefully recover my email it says there’s an error. Feels like rage bait. Very displeased with this dysfunctional, FBI security shopping app. You would think they would make it easier for someone to simply buy products like every other shopping app, but of course it’s big bad sephora so they’re not hurting either way. The is useless, I cant search anything, every time I try to shop by specific brands I get sent back to the home screen. A qui dois-je m’adresser pour régler mon problème? ### 1/5 — Glitches at checkout *2026-08-16, version 26.16* I tried to check out in the app. It gave me an obscure error message and cleared out my cart and returned to the app home page without any “order placed” banner. I figured the app bugged out and had to manually re-add every item again just to place another order. Only later did I notice that the first order did go through instead of the app glitching. So now I have to request for the original order to be canceled. ### 1/5 — Brand section gone *2026-08-15, version 26.16* The brand section is now gone and it makes it harder to find products ### 1/5 — Closed my account *2026-08-13, version 26.16* It is concerning that on 8/11/26 an Israel government page posted about Sephora coming to Israel. It’s a deal where some of the products are being sold at third party stores but it’s scary that an official ministry page for Israel is using Sephora to take a jab at people who are protesting genocide. This along with other ethical issues that have come up with this company I no longer feel like it is a business that is safe, ethical or inclusive. I’m boycotting Sephora due to their partnership with a government that is committing genocide, misleading and aggressive marketing campaigns, labor law violations…and more. ### 1/5 — Put it back! *2026-08-13, version 26.16* The Brand tab when you’re looking to shop is gone and we want it back. It was the single most useful tab and I’m not enjoying this new…..whatever this is! The way I had saved my favourite brands for ease and now they’re gone. Thanks Sephora. He greets you with a warm smile that makes you feel good that you came into Sephora! He knows where all the beauty products are and helps you find what you are looking for! He treats all his coworkers with kindness and the same caring attitude! Sephora is very fortunate to have such a valuable employee as Josh He should be commended for his exceptional customer service skills and the way he treats his coworkers either the same kind of caring and respect!
