I like the zoom tables and popups used in this app. Mentioned drugs are cross-referenced to their dosing pages in popups that you can swipe through…pretty neat! Some sections could be reorganized and streamlined a little to emphasize the most important point, but overall a very helpful reference. Aside from goal directed therapy and other sepsis guidelines, which every critical care fellow should know cold, I find the ID, antibiotic regimen and drug dosing info particularly useful…it’s nice to have everything in one place. The app contains great information on the diagnosis and management of sepsis and related infections, presented in a simple, straightforward style, as well as a number of useful clinical calculators. The content covers a pretty broad range from basic h&p to more specialized neonatal sepsis topics. The interface has what you’d expect from this sort of app – full search, bookmarking, plus some slick features that I really like, like popups that list drugs, references or footnotes in an unobtrusive way.
