There isn’t unnecessary complexity and its an intuitive dashboard that works well recording workout and location data. So a job well done. It appears there have been a series of ongoing updates to improve the software which is reassuring. I’m giving 4/5 on the basis that the app doesn’t seem to include the ability to remove pre existing sleep data accrued during the delivery of the watch itself. That would keep my data relevant and tidy. Overall I’m impressed. Thank you ### 4/5 — Working pretty well *2022-01-08* Got my sequent Elektron Yesterday. The app connected to the phone immediately and was working great. But, it’s come disconnected from Bluetooth and I cannot get it to reconnect to my iPhone. Just fill everything out. Press next and nothing happens. Terrible experience so far ### 1/5 — Watch is unusable. App crashes on update. *2024-01-02* after waiting more than 2 years for this kickstarter to ship, I got the watch today. I downloaded this app and it takes me to an update page. I have no choice. I want to set the time, but when I press “update” the app stops and that’s all. If I restart the app, I go through the same thing. I put in a request for support and got an email that I would receive a response in 2 or 3 days. Garbage! ### 2/5 — App crashing *2023-05-18* App crashing every time I connect my watch ### 2/5 — Connection issues. *2022-11-16* I bought the Sequent Elektron (NASA one) watch more than a year ago. At the beggining, it connected well to my Iphone, worked well and measurements pretty accurate. Months after, the watch started to disconnect from my phone and making it really hard to connect again, losing a lot of my data. I contacted their costumer service and they tried to help me, but it didn’t work well so I had to send it back to their headquarters. Once back, the watch worked very well for 2 weeks and again, it gets disconnected from my phone by itself and it is not even giving me the time accurately. The design is beautiful, the idea great, but it is a lot of money for this watch giving you headaches. **Developer response:** Hello mvfromcl, we are sorry to hear that. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Cannot Connect *2022-03-25* I downloaded the application but will not sync to my watch very frustrating and no other trouble shooting offered through the website. **Developer response:** Hello Carl Please drop a message to care@sequent.ch we will assist you. :-) ### 2/5 — This app needs a new design *2022-01-27* Connections from watch to phone was easy and fast. But near daily troubleshooting/connectivity to upload data is annoying; sometimes the app syncs on its own most time it requires you to click the crown and then sync. At least their methodology works (click crown and then sync). App user interface is plain. It looks like an afterthought. First/main/overview screen looks like a hodgepodge of the watches main features with the main focus on steps or “activity”. The other main screen widgets are workouts, sleep, and heart rate. Each of the main screen widgets have a separate screen that provide more information. I’m the “activity” screen it shows a graphical view of steps walked in a histogram view. Besides this detail, it is purely a repeat of the widget on the main screen. In my mind that’s repeated wasted space. It also includes a histogram of heart rate. The sleep screen is obviously designed by someone that doesn’t know sleep. It shows awake, light sleep, and deep sleep times. It’s not complete and is very inaccurate. I’ve compared it to Oura and they’re not remotely close. This should be studied carefully and redesigned by a competent team. Furthermore, there’s nothing beyond the graph; no insight, information, heart rate variance, blood oxygen, etc. The heart rate screen shows heart rate histogram for the day and a general blood oxygen level at the bottom with some additional information. Pretty bare screen. I think the team need a group of scientists to back up the health data and make sense of the information they’re gathering and displaying. There are a lot more information that could be analysed and plotted from their sensors. An automatic workout trigger would be beneficial, but I know that is a health tech challenge. It would be nice to have app buttons for the various crown click options (two, four, five, etc) and descriptions for how to use the watch in the settings. **Developer response:** Hello Winglessware Thank you for your notes and informations. It is much appreciated. Now I just have to contact support to find out why my steps aren’t syncing to Apple Health. My sleep is syncing but steps aren’t. **Developer response:** Hello Good news.
