## What is Seremet Driver?

This app is for chauffeurs who drive with Seremet Transportation. It is not open to the public and it will not work without an account issued by the office.

YOUR DAY, ON ONE SCREEN
See the trips assigned to you, accept or decline offers, and open the one you are driving now. Pickup, stops and drop-off are laid out in order, with the passenger's flight details when there are any.

NAVIGATION THAT DOES NOT ARGUE
Start the trip and the route opens in the navigation app you already use. A floating button brings you back with one tap, so switching apps never costs you the trip screen.

WAITING TIME, COUNTED FOR YOU
The clock starts where the rules say it starts and not a minute earlier. At an airport it begins when the aircraft lands. At an ordinary address it begins at the booked time or when you arrive, whichever is later. You see the free time and what is left of it, and nothing has to be worked out in your head at the curb.

TALK TO YOUR PASSENGER
Message or call from the trip screen. Neither of you sees the other's real number, and the line closes when the trip ends. Quick replies are there for the things that are awkward to type while you are parked.

WHAT YOU EARNED
Every completed trip, what it paid, and what is still owed to you. Tips are shown separately as they arrive. Statements are in the app whenever you need them.

YOUR PAPERWORK
Licence, insurance, registration and agreements all live in one place, and the app tells you before something is about to expire rather than after.

BUILT AROUND HOW THE JOB ACTUALLY WORKS
Airport holding areas, flight delays, gate changes, a passenger who is still at baggage claim, a stop added on the day. These are the ordinary parts of the work and the app expects them.

Chauffeurs interested in driving with us should apply at seremet.limo rather than installing this app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-12

- Two-step sign-in in Menu, Security: turn it on and every new sign-in, by text or by Google, also asks for a 6-digit code from Google Authenticator. Ten backup codes, or a code by e-mail, get you in if your phone is lost.
- Greeting Sign on the trip map: from the start of the trip until your passenger is in the car, tap it to show their name across the whole screen, such as MR. CAN, to hold up at the airport or the hotel door.
- Ride Details lists the toll roads the trip pays for under Toll Roads: take those, and the ordinary road everywhere else.
- Drive off from an airport pickup without swiping Passenger Picked Up and the app asks a mile past the airport's waiting lot, instead of five miles out.
- Call Passenger rings the trip's own number. When two trips run at the same time, one of them uses our second number, +1 240-771-0075, and Help lists both numbers.
- Your leave times are worked out from where your phone really is, never from your home address.
- Ten seconds into a trip, the app may ask once to use your location all the time. Allow it and your leave times stay right even when the app is closed.
- The warning about holding your phone while driving is switched off for now. It could go off while the phone sat in a holder.
- Times and dates in the app follow New York time, even on a phone set to another time zone: the date a message will be removed, and when each phone was added and last used on the Devices screen.
- The trip screen uses much less mobile data. It downloads the trip again only when something has changed, and it stops looking up your passenger's location once they are in the car.
- Your passenger's tracking screen shows the same arrival time, time left, distance and speed as your trip screen.
- Skip Stop on the trip screen: when your passenger asks to leave a stop out, tap Skip Stop under the swipe and confirm. The office is told, and it works with no signal too.
- A skipped stop is crossed out with the time it was skipped on Home, Rides and Ride Details, and stops are shown in route order everywhere in the app.
- A step you swipe with no signal keeps the time you swiped it.
- The Airport tag and the airport filter in Activity catch every terminal address, such as 2401 Smith Blvd for Reagan National, and no longer tag the Ronald Reagan Building or a hotel named after an airport.
- At the airport, navigation takes you to the waiting lot first, then to the exact door once your passenger says where they are.
- When your passenger writes a door, location or zone in the chat, a button appears under the message: tap it to navigate straight there. You can also choose the pickup and drop-off door on Ride Details.
- At an airport pickup the first ready message is "Which door number are you at?". A passenger who answers with just the number is understood, and a passenger on text gets a link to pick their door.
- Once the passenger's door is known, navigation turns to it by itself and the app tells you out loud. The door buttons stay in the chat after the trip.
- Forgot to swipe Start Trip? Pressing Navigate on the map starts the trip and tells your passenger once; pressing it again only opens directions.
- The car arrow no longer disappears from the map after you open the chat and come back.
- Menu, Security lists every device signed in to your account. Sign one out, or sign out of all the others at once, and see the last 90 days of sign-ins and security changes.
- A backup code can now switch two-step sign-in off or give you ten new codes, so a lost phone never locks you out. Search Menu for 2fa or authenticator to find it.
- When a trip was left unfinished, the question opens in a window straight away and one tap answers it. There is no bar to tap first.
- The car arrow on the trip map is smaller, so the streets around it stay visible.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-30

- The app no longer closes itself on the trip screen when your trip list refreshes behind it.
- Buttons on the bar at the bottom of Ride Details never show a cut word: Report an Issue becomes Report when space runs short. The More list keeps the full names.
- Waiting timer at home pickups fixed, it counts down from 15 minutes again.
- Turn by turn directions follow the road again. The turn ahead, the Then line under it and the road name beside the car move along with you instead of staying on the first turn of the trip.
- The road name under the car is the name alone, on one line, between the speed box and the voice button. Google's notes, such as a road being closed at certain times or the state you are passing through, no longer run on behind it, on the turn card either.
- Pulling the panel up takes the road name up with it, instead of cutting it in half.
- The speed box works like the car's own dial: it changes every second, reads 0 when you stop at a light, and can no longer stay stuck on an old figure.
- The voice speaks every turn, not only the first one, and it no longer reads that note out.
- The last tab on the bar is called Menu now, with the three-line menu icon, instead of More and three dots.
- The countdown on a trip card counts the seconds down as they pass, instead of standing still between refreshes.
- The pickup time and the countdown beside it no longer run into each other on a narrow screen.
- The selection bar you get by holding a message down now goes away when you leave the Inbox, so the tab bar comes back.
- A gratuity is worked out on the fare alone, so credit on the bill or the card fee can no longer change what a tip comes to.
- Let's go arrives with your first reminder and stays until you start the trip, even after midnight. A trip at 12:20 AM no longer hides the button while its card says you are late.
- Your reminders count down to the moment you need to leave, measured from where you are in today's traffic, instead of to the pickup time.
- A third trip reminder, Second reminder, is in Notifications. It stays off unless you set it.
- The trip card shows when to leave and how long the drive is, and once you are running late, when you will arrive.
- Messages are easier to read: the details sit in cards and the buttons you need come with them. Accept and Decline on an open offer, Tax on a 1099-NEC message, View Agreement on an approved agreement, Earnings on the office's reply to your report, Still Waiting on a waiting check, and Text Office beside Call Office.
- Tapping a notification opens that message straight away and marks it read.
- Menu has a search box and your recent pages, and Ride Chats lists the conversation of every trip, finished ones too.
- Picking several messages and pressing Restore or any other action now applies it to all of them, and swiping through messages keeps loading older ones.
- While your account is on hold, Home tells you so and why, and the work screens step aside until it is active again.
- A flight on a trip card sits on its own row with a Track button.
- Airlines show their own logo beside their name, and in the airline list.
- At the airport, the waiting clock stops once the passenger is in the car.
- A long message name wraps onto a second line instead of ending in dots.
- Addresses on a trip break neatly over two lines, and headings are easier to scan.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-17

• Home now counts down to when you must LEAVE, not when the pickup is. It works it out from where you are and today's traffic, counts down in seconds, turns amber when it is time to set off, and red only when the drive no longer fits, with three minutes' grace.
• Home is split in two: Now for the job in hand, Later today for the rest of the day.
• Let's go at the foot of the card takes you to the map. It no longer starts location sharing on a job that has not begun, so the Trip in progress band only appears on a trip you have actually started.
• Press View offer on the alert that opens over your screen and it takes you straight to the offer. It used to bring the app forward and leave you wherever you were, with the clock still running on work you could not see.
• That alert no longer opens twice. Answering it once is enough.
• An offer you did not get to in time now says so and leaves it there, instead of offering a Try Again that could never bring the work back.
• Blocking now works properly. Block a passenger and neither of you can message or text the other, and you will not be offered their trips again. If a passenger blocks you, the app tells you straight away and says what it means.
• Blocking is on the ride screen too, so it works even when nothing was ever written in the chat. Only the side that blocked can lift it.
• New help pages on blocking, in Help and Support.
• The unread badge counts only what is really waiting for you.
• Phone numbers are written the same way everywhere, with the country code.
• Every screen is easier to read: type that was small is a size bigger throughout the app.
• Smaller download, and the app turns with your tablet instead of staying upright.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-15

- Open the app and your unread badge is already there. It used to stay blank until you went to the Inbox yourself. It also goes down now when you delete or archive something you never read.
- Press and hold an unread message and you can mark it read. It used to offer Unread, which it already was, and there was no way to mark it read at all.
- Changed your mind about a pin or a star? Press again and it comes straight off. It used to look like nothing had happened.
- Deleting a message sends it to Trash and you can bring it back from there. The warning used to say it was gone for good, which was never true.
- In Trash you now get Restore and Delete Forever, instead of Archive and Delete, which did nothing useful for something already deleted.
- If you turned off "Ask before deleting", we listen to that everywhere now. Deleting from inside a message used to ask every single time.
- Pick a few messages and a bin appears on the bar, right where your thumb is.
- A tab with nothing in it puts its message in the middle of the screen.
- The line under the tabs is short now. Tap the "?" if you want the whole story.
- You can connect your Google Calendar without leaving the app. The Google screen opens over the app, and when you allow it you land straight back where you were. You used to be sent out to the browser and left to find your own way back.
- If you miss the calendar tick box on the Google screen, the app now tells you that is what went wrong, instead of saying nothing.
- Your agreements, your tax forms and a passenger's invoice open inside the app now. You used to be sent out to the browser, and the address that took you there worked for anybody who had it.
- They are drawn sharp on your own screen. On a big phone the text used to come out soft.
- The upload sheet shows proper icons instead of printed symbols.
- Every screen is easier to read. Type that was small is a size bigger throughout the app, and two boxes side by side line up at the bottom even when one of the labels runs onto a second line.
- Swipe left or right and you move between the sections of a screen. The tabs along the bottom stay where they are.
- A request that never comes back now stops and tells you. The button used to spin forever and say nothing, and the app could sit there on the sign-in screen with nothing on it.
- A switch that is off finally looks off. It used to disappear into the card behind it.
- Your route looks the same wherever you see it.
- Signing in on a second phone signs the first one out properly, so your account is never open in two places.
