## What is Sero (formerly iBlink Radio)?

The Sero application, formerly known as iBlink Radio, is the world's first application for the visually impaired for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad! Radio stations, podcasts and reading services of special interest to blind and visually impaired persons; as well as their friends, family, caregivers and those wanting to know what life is like without eyesight.

All stations under Community Radio are owned and/or operated by persons with limited or no eye sight. Genres include oldies, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, alternative, classic Rock, Old Time Radio and more.

Reading services provide narration of newspapers, magazines, periodicals and other print publications including: USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and hundreds more.

Podcasts are produced by blind and partially sighted individuals, and cover topics including: broadcasting, computers, radio, technology, Independant Living, Travel, and much more.

With an active Sero account, you can gain access to many more radio stations and podcasts, as well as an award-winning online community featuring real-time voice chat rooms, voice-enabled forums, blogs, personal websites, and more.

An auto-renewing subscription to the content and community features of Sero is available within the app for just $5.99 per month. Without a subscription or free trial, you'll have access to a small subset of our audio content, and none of the community features such as forums or voice chat.

If you purchase a subscription within the app, your iTunes account will be charged when you confirm your purchase. Your subscription will then automatically renew for $5.99 per month unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your iTunes account settings after you start the subscription.

### 5/5 — Sero

*2025-09-03, version 3.2.0*

Good afternoon my name is Ulises Gomez, I totally love the Sarah application mainly because of the audio description and the podcast I totally love the application because it is 100% accessible with voiceover Although I have not seen any updates to this app keep up the great work looking forward to a major update to the app thank you very much for providing this application to the blind and visually impaired community Sincerely, Ulises Gomez, a proud Sarah user and customer

### 3/5 — Very Dodgy Media Playback

*2023-12-18, version 3.2.0*

Seeking by small amounts, using Siri to control playback, or resuming reliably after pausing using headphone controls are basically broken; if you're looking to play media, don't be expecting to control it much. Strangely, similar comments apply to the Mac version. The client works well enough as an interface, but it's not clear to me why you would use it over the web interface for most of the text content; you really only want this app for media playback. Please fix.

### 3/5 — Pretty good so far.

*2023-09-08*

I love this app. Especially because you guys are so organized. I hope you guys keep updating it and I hope this app stays up and running.

### 2/5 — Good app but disappointed

*2022-12-25*

A friend recomonded Sero to me. It was easy to create an account and access content during the free trile. However, when it comes to getting the subscription it will not let me complete payment, through ITunes. So thanks. I will be going back to using audiovault again.

### 5/5 — App needs an update

*2022-09-06, version 3.2.0*

And this app needs an update. It works with iOS 13 and currently it works fine for me but I’m afraid eventually it will stop working because the update is over a year old. Is this app still being updated?

### 1/5 — Developers, IS THIS IN- APP PURCHASE SERO STILL SUPPORTED?

*2022-07-18, version 3.2.0*

It appears you haven’t updated SERO in years, although there Is an in-app purchase. The most recent reviews for SERO are four years old? Would you let us know if you plan to update or continue to support SERO? Is it even still useful to visually impaired persons? Thanks! I wish I could give more stars, but I can’t until you let us know your intentions concerning SERO.

### 1/5 — About logging in

*2022-04-29, version 3.2.0*

I have nothing bad to say about this app because I like it. I haven’t been on it in quite a while, but I was trying to login today and I forgot my info and, it said it didn’t have my credentials so then I try to create an account and it says that this account is already active and I tried different ways and it’s like it’s the same thing. They need to have a number or something that we can call. Or another way that’s when we forget our information they can help.

### 1/5 — Locked out of the paid version

*2021-03-10, version 3.2.0*

Used to get all movies and radio stations with podcasts. Now all I all I can only get four archive movies a month and podcast archives of Hadley and cooking in the dark Archives and computer tech information archives.

### 5/5 — App needs updated

*2020-06-05, version 3.2.0*

This is a really good app. But, it needs updated. It’s over a year old. Pretty soon it won’t work anymore. Please update
The app has been updated. It’s just as good as ever.
