Whenever an update comes out it will force a pop up telling the user to sync, but all options are frozen. Closed app, re open app, quickly navigate to sync screen (otherwise the pop up will strike within 3 seconds), successfully hit sync only to get an error that the previous sync must complete before starting a new one. Semantics would lead one to believe the update is happening but after 10 minutes of nothingness…. Only solution is to remove and reinstall app, all while customer is staring at me farting around on my phone with this garbage app. All of my fellow technicians report same issue with this delightful product. Aside from that, it’s slow, requiring you to wait while it updates after each task in the order process. Process time over mobile has its limits, but updating 5 times throughout the course kills productivity in the field ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-03-13, version 13.2.0* Terrible app ### 1/5 — yall suck *2026-03-09, version 13.2.0* who ever made this i hope they get beatin several times ### 1/5 — Clumsy and Slow *2026-03-05* Data lags and the slowest interface I’ve ever used in 15 yrs in the field. Every screen pulls from the cloud in the slowest most inefficient way. Constant syncing at over a minute each time to not miss anything. Missed syncs lead to missed orders or failure to order parts. Why bother! Pen, paper and postal service would be quicker and less stressful. ### 1/5 — Run! *2026-02-05* The best way I can describe this app: if the company you are working for transitions to using this app or a company you are going to start working for is using it - go somewhere else. All this app does is cause frustrations and increased paperwork. I won’t even go into details as to why, cause the designer and programmer won’t listen. It will give you random errors and then delete your entire Work order and you have to start all over. Have to click 100 times per work order and every click adds 10 seconds of loading and by the time you are finished with your work order it’s been an extra 30 minutes of paperwork per WO. ### 1/5 — ServiceMax Sucks *2026-07-22, version 14.0.0* This has to be one of the worst ways to close calls in the 30+ years I’ve worked in Field Service. What was Roche thinking when they decided to go with ServiceMax? I experience constant lockups/ application freezes, the app is not intuitive at all to use, lots of difficulties and errors when closing cases. Two highschool kids could make a more functional platform over a weekend in the computer lab. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. It actively harms my mental health and detracts from my joy in life. My wife left me, my kids don’t want to see me anymore and my hair has fallen out. If I had three bullets and was in a room with hitler, Stalin and this app…I would shoot this god forsaken app three times. This app is responsible for 90% of the worlds climate change, the amount of battery usage you use in trying to get this app to work is responsible for melting the ice caps. ### 1/5 — FST *2026-03-24* This is not intuitive or user friendly. Errors pop up in the middle of data entry fields and simple Task like checking inventories of a certain part at a storage location requires you to scroll through every part there is. This could be hundreds of parts. I have experienced nothing but sheer joy since the company that employs me decided to use this great product. Before hand i was not content with just doing my job and clocking off for the day, no. I now get the extra excitement to double my working hours just trying to perform a sync or complete a work order.
