Do Better ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-07-08, version v2.14.2* Government is useless, app is buggy, probably had 5 humpty engineers watching 1 engineer work to develop this. Not only that, probably had to spend 1 day writing a JHA. Either way, the government is useless, don’t think giving a measly $100 (by the way, it’s hard earnt tax payers money) for fuel to try and shut us up is valid. ### 1/5 — Faulty - Needs A Rebuild *2026-07-08, version v2.14.2* This worked fine during COVID but in 2026 the app no longer works properly. It’s a current issue that is known to ServiceWA but they appear to not have the ability to fix it. It needs to be deleted and replaced altogether. ### 1/5 — MyID and ServiceWA incompatible *2026-07-07, version v2.14.2* The digital ID system simply does not work. I was able to fumble my way through the system on an iphone, my partner struggled with it for over 1 hour on android. We both eventually stumbled into an area that gave us what we needed…but no idea how it happened…absolute rubbish system for a mandatory administrative system foisted on us by a government that cares only for political donations from multinational planet destroyers ### 1/5 — Hmmm, Big Brother is watching. *2026-07-07, version v2.14.2* Not interested if you have to link to BigBrother. Absolutely ridiculous and I think it’s been done on purpose so we give up and can’t claim. Tried multiple times ### 1/5 — Can’t handle WA? *2026-07-02, version v2.14.1* Won’t load up for me - just sits there indefinitely with the spinning circle to show it’s trying to connect or load up. I’ve used it before and it was fine then. And, I’ve tried reinstalling. So, I guess it’s just overwhelmed because it wasn’t designed to handle as many people as the number of licensed drivers in WA. ### 1/5 — Clunky slow and soo frustrating *2026-07-01, version v2.14.1* This app is very clunky, slow and not user friendly at all. It took about 3 hours to set up. Even with help from a woman at their support team, it took forever. She did not know why I couldn’t get in… You literally go round in circles. When you finally get in and try and claim, it starts all over again. Buttons stay fuzzy so you can’t move forward off a page, it’s just ridiculously clunky and so last decade… truely frustrating. It doesn’t work on my iPhone and keeps showing “An unspecified error occurred” every time I try to log in. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, but the problem is still there. I also sent an email to the relevant support department and haven’t received any response. Very frustrating, especially when you need to access important government services. Every time I log in I have to go through the same set up process, it is so bad I have to set up a PIN and active biometrics. I would suggest however developed this app is a 14 year old. Have the developers not heard of testing the app first, or beta testing at its most rudimentary level. It was easy to setup, works effectively and efficiently. I am unable to understand the low ratings for this app as well the MyGovID app. Well to make it work efficiently I watched the videos for both the apps. Did the entire process as requested. I would suggest the following additional steps to be followed. 1. Go to Apple store or Google store depending on your phone system. Download the MyGovID app. Once you download it close your phone and then after 15 secs reboot it. Follow the steps to obtain your digital identity. 2. Once you have your digital identity set up, download WA Safe App. Once you download the app, switch off the phone and then reboot the phone after 15 secs. There after, follow the steps as advised in the video. Its safest and the best way to keep family and society safe. I believe all the bugs have been fixed and so far this app has worked well. Can’t fault it. **Developer response:** Thank you for your positive review of the app. It will get even better over time as more Government services are added. ### 5/5 — Exceptionally slick, thank you dev team involved! *2022-03-03* Managed to get everything set up in under 45 minutes despite having a 2-year-expired passport and expired Medicare care (with Medicare having my 2-addresses-ago on file). Load time and switching between views is exceptionally fast (and i’m only on an iPhone 6s!) React Native or what? My dear app developers, don’t listen to the haters; pat yourselves on the back as hard as you can. **Developer response:** Thank you for your positive review of the app. It will get even better over time as more Government services are added. ### 5/5 — Great Umbrella App *2022-01-15* This free app centralises and integrates vaccination status from Medicare/MyGov, check-in functionality from SafeWA, as well as G2G Pass. The ID verification process will always be tricky between Federal and State platforms, and having previously set up all other apps and MyGov ID etc, I found the process of setting up easy and quick. All done in a matter of minutes. Can you please add photo ID requirements to show at venues and can you also add the check-in history which would include at least seven days so you can see where you checked in and what time you checked in so when you check the locations you can tell where are you there at date or time ?thank you **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Your feedback has been provided to the developers. ### 5/5 — Worth the set up but needs ios14 as a minimum *2022-01-12* Had to set it up for 5 different family members. Yes you have to have myGovID set up first (you only need standard strength level) but once that is done, it was very simple to link ServiceWA. Heads up though, it only works on iOS 14 and above (it currently says 10 and above), so if you have an older model iPhone running on an iOS below 14, you may get a linking error (e.g OID003). ### 5/5 — Gateway to a new civilisation *2022-01-11* Really looking forward to having a single point to interact with government. This has great potential to go beyond a COVID app. I look forward to the gateway to a new civilisation this app opens up. A world where people read the instructions and get their MyGovID sorted first; where every app isn’t just erosion of privacy; a world where those who can do get vaccinated; a world where I can choose how much or how little government I engage with through an app as my needs and preferences change. I’m here for it. I’m grateful to everyone who works hard to keep us safe. This is a big project, imagine trying to keep everyone safe by joining an app that uses Medicare and MyGovID - and everyone signing up on one day!
