What you write becomes unreadable. What you store never leaves the device. And the app doesn't look like what it is. UNREADABLE MESSAGES Write, encrypt, send it through whatever you already use — SMS, email, any messenger. What travels is meaningless, including to whoever carries it. Keys are exchanged in person, by QR code. Never over the internet. A VAULT FOR EVERYTHING ELSE Photos, videos, documents, notes. Encrypted on the device with a key that never leaves it. No contact needed: the vault works on its own, from the first minute. A FAÇADE. A CODE. Sesam opens as a calculator, a weather app, a notepad, a game — around fifteen façades, with the real icon and the real interface. Your code reveals the vault. Nothing is derived, no blockchain is queried, nothing is sent: your paper stays the backup, this is its protected copy. Two things a sheet of paper can't do. The BIP-39 checksum is verified as you type: Sesam names the word that doesn't exist and catches two swapped words — the mistake you normally discover the day you need to restore, years too late. And a three-word quiz tells you whether the paper filed away in a drawer is the right one. SCAN A DOCUMENT WITHOUT GOING THROUGH YOUR PHOTOS The camera opens inside Sesam, detects the edges and straightens the page. The document is encrypted without ever touching your photo library — so it never reaches iCloud backup. Until now, storing an ID left the original in the clear in your camera roll. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-19 Contact verification, rebuilt. Every contact now shows a 60-digit safety number derived from your shared key. Compare it: by QR when you're together, out loud on a call when you're not. A single differing digit means someone stepped in during the exchange. It replaces the 4-character fingerprint of earlier versions, which was too short to prove anything — it could be reproduced in under two seconds. The decoy vault, the one your duress code opens, now holds ordinary-looking conversations. An empty vault gave away its own lie. ### 1.1 — 2026-08-18 Sesam finally works on its own.
