## What is Sesam Sesam?

This is an app for the parking service Sesam Sesam. 

Register your car(s) by entering license plate number, email address, mobile number and credit card. After registration the barriers will open automatically when driving in and out of Sesam Sesam facilities. 

You only pay for the time you are parked. The amount charged is calculated when the vehicle leaves the parking facility.

The service can easily be disabled in the app for example, if someone else borrows the car.

Information for each parking are documented in the app with start time, stop time and charged amount.

What a nightmare…. If you use the app with a rental car they even charge you with parking fees from the previous rental. Absolutely inferior and lousy customer service. They even refuse to refund wrong charges if you send them the proof!!!

This app and the whole service should be avoided by all means if you find an alternative to park your car. 
The sign in is faulty and requires several attempts to get completed, there is no information at all about how much they will charge you before you leave the place, the charge is completely intransparent even when you got the settlement (just one total amount), the invoice comes only in Norwegian language, i.e. not in English and finally there is no information about data security which I consider as inacceptable when dealing with credit card information.

Total swindle. Legally allowed to rip people off. Any other parking solution would be better.

**Developer response:** Hello. I'm sorry to see that you are unhappy with Sesam Sesam. Starting June 1st 2018, a new parking system was introduced at Stavanger Airport. The barrier and ticket system has been replaced by automatic number plate recognition.

To pay for parking, you have four options:
- Create a Sesam Sesam account by downloading the Sesam Sesam app or registering on the website www.sesam-sesam.com 
- Pay at the payment machine on-site, where you enter your car number and pay by card (payment to be made at the end of the parking stay, before exiting the facility)
- Pay on our website www.sesam-sesam.com within 48 hours after the parking was completed (payment deadline was extended to 7 days for 6 months after June 1st)
- An invoice for unpaid parking fees is sent to the registered owner of the vehicle if none of the above payment options are used. An invoice fee of 49 NOK will be added. We prefer of course that the first three options are used, and only send invoices if it is not done. I hope this cleared things up.
