The process of stringing the patterns and fills together is easy after some light experimentation, way more straightforward than other drum apps in my arsenal (simplicity=win). The downside of that though is you can’t create your own bespoke patterns, so if you want to obsess over specifics it’s not for you. But if your needs are simply for a solid virtual drummer who knows a heap of realistic sounding patterns and fills (cos hey, they ARE real) then this absolutely ticks the box. I’m a bass player and I use the app to jam along with at home - the variety it offers is more than enough for my needs. Version 1.2 completely stopped working on iOS12. Update: Now back to 3 stars. Version 1.3 is now working again. Only 3 stars because it took 6 month for the update.
