But I cannot find them! The “help” is no help at all. Just the usual “push” rubbish. Where there is no search function! The editor is hopelessly inadequate for the most basic use. I tried to create 1 bar , but the compulsory default seems to be 2!The interface is counterintuitive and mostly unusable . With buttons too small and too close together on a phone screen. I sense the use of “off the shelf” code libraries being compiled in the end product. A lazy and half baked approach at best. Waste of money. Time wasting junk! ### 5/5 — Terrific app *2025-04-18* Great sounds for practice, sketching songs, play alongs ... and when you dig a bit deeper, the parts are high enough quality to set up drums bass and rhythm parts for playing live. A really useful app. ### 4/5 — Finally a great practise tool with a few ommisions *2025-01-20* Im nicely surprised at how good this is. The organic feeling of the assets when put together give a good fluid realistic backing band. Very easy to operate and save result. My only criticism and one I don't think they'd be able to fix easily, is the omission of some chord types like quartal and So What voicings. The quartals for Tyner and Ogerman style arrangements. Apart from that this is great work and very much thought through. ### 4/5 — Chords and printing *2024-08-21* Great app, I use it and I real player, both have strong points. Sessions is audio quality,it is excellent. I find the chord choices limited, one big improvement would be the ability to construct your own chords😊. Bref j’ai abandonné ### 3/5 — Un progrès qui n’en est pas un… c’était trop beau. *2023-10-05* J’apprécie beaucoup la série SessionBand (j’en ai cinq), malheureusement je viens d’acheter la Série jazz 4 qui est beaucoup moins fournie en styles que la version 1. C’était une excellente idée de pouvoir télécharger des standards tout prêts à l’utilisation mais la plupart ne peuvent s’ouvrir ou ne correspondent même pas aux styles proposés dans la série 4, il n’y a même pas de style balade ! Pourquoi n’y a-t-il pas la possibilité de ce téléchargement de standard dans la série 1 qui est bien plus complète en styles ou remettre ses excellents styles dans cette serie 4. Peut-être aussi rendre compatibles les fichiers avec toutes les séries confondues. Vraiment déçu, pourquoi avoir supprimer ici les styles qui étaient si bien au départ ? c’est vraiment dommage d’avoir des musiciens superbes sur une application aussi lourde et enfermée. Du willst Fusion, Du brauchst am besten alle 3 Fusion Apps, Du willst andere Jazz-Styles, dann kauf doch bitte noch Jazz 1-3, jeweils wieder 7-15 Euro ... Ich habe Session Band Jazz 4 geladen und 155 Realbook-Standards ebenfalls. Außerdem noch Funk&Fusion oder so. Da habe ich 3 von 15 möglichen Styles aktiv … Die Bedienung ist auf dem Tablet vielleicht ok, auf dem Handy nervt es gewaltig!! Anders als bei iRB hast Du ein fortlaufendes Band, bist also ewig am hin- und herziehen, Akkorde einfügen, Taktlängen festlegen, nervt. Apropos Akkorde: Während iRB ja nahezu alle möglichen Akkorde und Erweiterungen anbietet, ist es bei SessionBand je nach App recht limitiert, z.B. ein moll11 - nicht da … (In der Fusion App schon, dafür fehlt da dann irgendwas anderes …) Die geladenen Standars funktionieren auch nur bedingt, manche sind großartig, modales Zeug kannst Du vergessen. Halbtaktike Wechsel - nicht schön, Geschwindigkeit anpassen unbrauchbar. Mich nervt auch, dass offenbar die Musiker in jedem Stil genau 1 Voicing für einen bestimmten Akkord anbieten, bei den Solophrasen, so gut sie an sich sein mögen, eben auch. iRB spielt da wesentlich abwechslungsreicher. Man kann auch den Stil nicht wechseln, wenn der ein anderes Metrum hat: Ich kann also 3/4 Takte nur in dem einen Style spielen lassen, der eben im 3/4 ist. Wenn ich den selben Style gerne als 4/4 hätte - nö.
