There is no intro explanation for variants and the help popup doesn’t pause game. There is an explanation of game rules but none for the app, how to manage the game codes for online play, what coins do, if there is a way to earn the right to open games, etc. Payment is blocked in three and you have to pay all for a full game — one to stop ads, one to open all the other modes, and one to open styles. There seem to be levels, but god only knows what they do. ### 4/5 — Daily Challenge bug *2026-03-10* I absolutely LOVE Set, and this is the best Set app out there. But my app stopped tracking my daily challenge streak a while ago, and I no longer receive gems for winning the daily challenges. Without my motivation to play Set every day, I find myself too busy to play, and less excited about Set. Please fix this bug! Like the OG is a deck of cards, none repeating, and seeing how fast you can go through it? They have a deck game mode that i spent three weeks unlocking and it doesnt even time you? it just tells you how many sets you got? Dude there are 81 cards. I can do basic math. what's the point of that. I want to be timed and/or i want the multiplayer mode to be a full, non-repeating deck. It is so bizarre to be playing and have the same cards show up over and over in the same game. the android rip-off only had one game mode but it was the most obvious and appealing one. ### 3/5 — Fine and Pretty Good *2025-10-12* The game is pretty decent. The bad thing about this app it that you need to pay to play REAL Set! I got this app, hoping I could play Set against people. I was wrong 😑. The only ones you can play are; 1. One minute Set, where you have to find as many sets as you can in one minute. 2. 6 Pack, where you have to find six sets in one pack. 3. High Five, where you have to find five sets in one minute. There are many other games, but you have to pay for them. There is also multiplayer, but I can’t play that one because of restrictions on my phone 🙃. You can only play three or four set games, none of which are real set! It’s fun, but once you get high scores there’s really nothing to do. Pay to unlock all play modes? Ope now they’re locked again and you have to buy gems to unlock what you already paid for. Oh you just bought gems? No, those don’t exist anymore now it’s coins. Also the UI is very ugly now.
