I’ve stuck it out because I paid good money for it and learning new tech is a slog for me, but it glitches to the extent that I have adapted the way I work to accommodate the consistent ones, meanwhile new glitches just keep coming. After I purchased it I used it at a gig the next day. It constantly crashed every time I tried to bring up song lyrics. It was quite embarrassing and frustrating to say the least. The editing us awful. Just a shame the authors never bothered to improve this product in 8 years. I get half way through setting up my list and it won’t add my lyrics.. also get through using the set list at gigs and the program won’t go into lyrics and shuts down program ### 1/5 — Very buggie *2025-06-06* This app crashes constantly and randomly. The so called upgrade is a joke. Apple should make this dev. Produce the goods or get out of town. I needed an updated program that would allow me to input my set list and present, the charts, lust set list. However after figuring out how to get the list into the program It crashes when I try to open a song. Btw, it is not iCloud friendly- I had to use Dropbox-what I stopped using that years ago. ### 1/5 — Abandoned by the developers *2025-05-13, version 2.1.7* Primary features like importing files from Google Drive are completely broken and the app hasn’t been updated for many years. Sure looked promising and comprehensive but it’s in dire need of maintenance to become usable. ### 2/5 — Painful on recent M2 iPad *2025-03-16* My word this is hard work! No access to local files to get songs in, still refers to ’iTunes folder’ in the manual, so far consistently blocked by Google Drive despite me confirming the activity is me (no mention of dealing with that in the manual). Open a set of lyrics they have added- immediately jumps to page 2. What? No immediate way of stepping back to setlist view without scrolling through at least one song. I haven’t even thought about a footswitch yet. The manual starts with a lot of waffle about the programmer having been in a band etc etc. We aren’t mates having a coffee, I’m someone trying to efficiently use my time on your app. Will update if the support gets me anywhere, but I’m not hopeful. Two stars given in case I get support, but from someone who has been in app support before, there are red flags. ### 4/5 — Setlists for Lyrics Works for Live Gigging *2025-02-07* Been using for around 10 yrs now, all in all a very stable app, a few glitches which were easy to work around. U buy it and own it unlike onsong. User manual explains about everything except the few glitches. been very stable for me on ipad. App support has disappeared or they just wont answer me any more as I had a couple of "wish they could fix this" issues. I found work arounds though. Still using it to this day and compared to using a notebook on music stand it's a great way to carry a ton of lyrics. ### 1/5 — App doesn't work *2025-01-26, version 2.1.7* Why is this app still available on the App Store? I have used this to write my songs It has let me down repeatedly removed entire setlists of songs, deleted edits seconds after going back to live I worked on a song for 2 weeks rewriting and tweaking had it perfect went live to record and it deleted the song and it’s gone forever. The Bluetooth connectivity is also a plus. The whole app is really simple to use and it didn’t take me long to learn how to use it. Are there any future updates in the works? Love it However, there doesan't appear to have been an update for many years and it is now getting very glitchy on all the newer operating systems. Pages slide back on forth on their own, crashes happen quite often. Would love a stability update, I love using this app, but its becoming a challenge. Some of the import functions no longer work and the backing track play along although I never used it no longer works. Shame really as the app was great and the only one I know of to show actual chord diagram boxes. ### 5/5 — Wow *2021-11-30, version 2.1.7* I have a smart TV in our rehearsal space and I’m using screen sharing to make it possible for all of us to follow along with this app easily. I was able to import lyrics from the net easily to populate our song library (around 100 tunes) in an afternoon. This is a powerful tool for rehearsal and it’ll be nice to use the jam feature on stage so that we all have current set lists. I have ordered a Bluetooth foot switch so that the lead singer can use her iPad mini during gigs (haven’t tried that yet). I have read so many negative reviews; at this point I am blown away by this app… time will tell. ### 5/5 — Please come back and fix things 😭 *2021-11-20* I love this app and haven’t found anything even close in comparison and I’ve looked for years. Plz come back!! ### 5/5 — Top shelf App *2021-11-07* I play music six nights a week, and while I only need the lyrics for a couple songs that week, I need all of this song tiles to look at to browse for the next song to play. This app is perfect for that. I made a category for fast dance, one for absolute favorites, one for slow songs, one for country, etc. Everything is easily readable in the dark venues. My only wish list is, sometimes prospective clients asked for a song list, and rather than “sharing“ separate set lists, I wish I could send my whole catalog. Unfortunately, that part is kind of a pain. Still, with all the other features, this app is absolutely top shelf!
