Terrible ai scan, every baseball card I would put in I would have to change the year! I put in a season 1 2026 and it said it was a season 2 1987! Would not recommend unless if you have 8 hours to spare.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to share this, and I'm sorry for the frustration. You're right about having to manually edit every year - is this primarily with Topps? I'm wondering if AI is confusing the Topps throwback designs.

Two things that may help in the meantime. AI is optional and can be turned off entirely: there's an AI Assist switch right on the Home screen. If you'd like to give the AI another shot, email me at support@setscribe.com with a couple of the cards that tripped it up. I read every message myself, and real examples are what I use to improve identification.

SetScribe is a small independent project, so every review carries real weight. If we can earn back your trust, I'd be grateful if you'd take another look and update your rating. Either way, thanks for trying it.

Been putting off cataloging my cards forever because it always felt like such a chore. This app made it actually painless. The scanner is surprisingly accurate, just point and shoot, it does the rest.
Set completion tracker is great if you’re chasing specific sets. Wish I had this years ago but better late than never.

This is a great application. It is easy to use and very well designed. Although I haven't become a premium member (yet), the functions and features of the basic (free) version are better than other (paid) apps. You can tell that the developer is someone who understands card collecting and collectors. Highly recommend that you give it a try.

This is a great app that takes the place of expensive software like Airtable. The shared collections make it very easy to show people your collection. I love the app, but I may be a little biased.
