## What is SetStacker?

SetStacker turns a shoebox of trading cards into an organized, priced catalog — and helps you find the ones worth selling. Sports, Pokémon, and more. Scan a card, and on-device AI reads the set, year, player or card name, and number for you. No typing; recognition runs on your device.

Boxes from the attic or a binder you've kept since childhood — catalog them, see what they're worth, and decide what to list, sell, or grade. Optimized for iPhone and iPad.

WHAT IT READS
- Sports — baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, racing, wrestling and more
- Pokémon — English and Japanese, including 1990s and early-2000s sets
- Entertainment and non-sport cards

FAST BATCH SCANNING
- Two-tap front and back capture with auto-detect and crop
- Pokémon raw singles scan front-only — the back carries no identity
- Stability-based auto-shutter so you can scan card after card

ON-DEVICE AI, NO TYPING
- Apple Vision OCR plus an on-device language model fill in set, year, name, number, subset
- Recognition that learns from your own corrections as you scan

RECOGNIZES THE ACTUAL CARD
- Tell SetStacker which sports and eras you collect; it downloads reference packs
- Scans match against those packs to fill blank fields automatically, on device and offline
- When two cards look alike it asks instead of guessing — "none of these" is always an option

POKÉMON
- Card numbers like 4/102, printed rarity marks, and holo, reverse and 1st Edition
- Japanese cards carry an English name so you can read your own catalog
- Listings route to the right trading-card-game categories and condition grades

PRICING BUILT INTO THE CATALOG
- Live eBay pricing when you save a card: Low, Average, and High
- Grade-bucketed values for graded cards
- A saved card is eligible for a fresh price every 90 days on Free, every 30 with Unlock

KNOW WHAT'S WORTH SELLING
- Cards are flagged Worth Listing against thresholds you set
- See which may be worth grading, with the grading fee factored in
- Track cards you send to a grader

PARALLELS & AUTOGRAPHS
- Identify refractors, parallels, serial-numbered cards, and autographs
- Pricing scoped to that exact version, not just the base card

SELL ON EBAY
- Connect your own eBay account and list a card directly from the app
- Buy It Now or auction: build the listing from the card's details and post
- Group cards into bundles to sell a lot in one listing
- Get a heads-up when an item sells, with pack-and-ship guidance

A CATALOG THAT SCALES
- Search by name, set, team, card number, year, or location
- Multi-level sort and filters (category, set, subset, year, era, team, graded, sell status)
- With Unlock: organize into collections and run bulk actions

GRADED SLABS & UNCUT SHEETS
- Capture a graded slab and read its label — PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, and more
- Scan an uncut sheet, auto-grid it into cards, and split them out when you cut them

COMMUNITY CHECKLISTS
- Shared checklist data can pre-fill name, team, and subset
- A self-updating library of sets that grows as more people scan
- Flags when newer community data improves a saved card — review and accept those with Unlock

FREE & UNLOCK
- Free: scan, catalog, and price up to 250 cards; refresh any card's price every 90 days
- Unlock (a one-time purchase): removes the card limit, cuts that wait to 30 days, and adds backup & export, direct eBay listing, bundle tools, collections, and bulk actions

GOOD TO KNOW
- Requires a recent iPhone or iPad that supports Apple's on-device intelligence
- Reference packs are downloaded only for the categories you choose
- Your catalog, photos, and card data are stored on your device
- Scanning and cataloging work without an account; creating an account to sell on eBay requires you to be 18 or older

*2026-09-18*

Best app to get value out of old cards!

**Developer response:** Thank you — getting real value out of cards that have been sitting in a box is exactly why I built SetStacker. Glad it's doing that for you. If you ever hit a card it reads wrong, email me at support@gatozlabz.com and I'll take a look.

— David, SetStacker

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.77 — 2026-10-14

Send cards to a grader, and keep track of them until they're back.

- Worth grading has a new screen. Search the list, pick the cards for an order, and follow the steps to send them in.
- Mark cards as sent to PSA, BGS, SGC or CGC. The Dashboard shows what's out, what the grading costs and when to expect it back, and reminds you when it's due.
- When a slab comes back, scan it. It joins the card you sent, now graded, and keeps that card's location, notes and price history.
- Leaving a card in PSA's vault? Mark it graded there, and record the sale if it sells through PSA.
- The grade is read more reliably from a PSA label.
- The packing guides have new steps for shipping a raw card, and a link to the supplies we recommend.

### 2.76 — 2026-10-10

See how your collection's value has moved.

- A new chart on the Dashboard, under What it's worth, shows your estimate over time. Tap it to open the full chart.
- On paid plans, prices now refresh by themselves once they are 30 days old.
- Prices show on your Collection by default. Turn them off under ••• if you prefer the photos alone.
- Graded cards: the grade is read from the grader's label, and you can correct the grader, grade and cert number on a saved card.
- Japanese Pokémon cards: pick an older card by the name printed on it, and see its English name on the card's screen.
- More cards on our lists show their team, and more unnumbered cards are matched by photo.

### 2.75 — 2026-10-06

See what the whole box is worth.

- The Dashboard now opens with an estimate for all your cards together. Common cards count at what they sell for in bulk, not at their asking prices, so expect a lower number than before.
- Prices now come from listings of a card's own version.
- More Pokémon printings and rarity marks are recognized, including on Japanese cards.
- Clearer wording and small fixes in Sell, bundles and Settings.

Thanks for scanning with us. Tell us what you'd like to see next.

### 2.74 — 2026-09-29

We now measure which of our ads bring people to SetStacker, and our privacy policy is updated to match. You can opt out anytime in Settings → About → Privacy & Legal.

### 2.73 — 2026-09-28

Sharper card details.

- SetStacker now flags card details that don't match a set it knows, and offers a fix.
- Better accuracy for Pokémon cards, including older Japanese cards.
- Smoother scanning and small display fixes.
