We agreed for 18k In my second month I got call saying if u want extension u need to pay 24k monthly who will do such spike in jus 2 months . And the person who’s made me convinced for 18k is not responding now. And after upgrading their application now it is saying Email is not registered with us . What a bad system . Higher management please look at your team . Due to irresponsible team main Settl management has to face issue. . Please hire proper sales persons who will be genuine at their work instead of fake persons who gave fake promises to customer before onboarding ### 1/5 — Fraud Company *2024-12-01, version 15.8* Their properties are very tiny which is not worth the money. When you move out, they will impose irrelevant charges so your security refund will be negligible. They imposed LPF charges, property maintenance charges, fumigation charges, repainting charges, additional charges to me even though I lived for 20 days only. Still they are not returning the remaining amount, it’s been 3 months I have left their property. These charges will not be informed to you at the time of booking. Only solution to get money back is taking the LinkedIn option and tagging them because even after sending continuous mails, they will not process the refund by saying banking partner issue and will try to delay the process as much as they can. I would say not to rent their property as they have very very bad customer experience. ### 1/5 — Fraudulent but thanks to Imran my money is back *2024-10-25, version 15.8* It had been almost 4 months of one in one conversations with Settl Management over my deposit amount. It was around 54,000 but all we were receiving were "Patience" and "Sorry" replies on mail. I tried getting over calls but none of that helped other than giving me hope that in 2 days it will be refunded. But Imran helped here. I thought that there must be some issue with tenant that they didn’t get any refund. Now that I have seen it 1st hand, I can confirm that once you have paid the money, no one from the Settl team replies to your email. Tell them that they are not providing basic services, they won’t reply, tell them that you will leave they won’t reply and then you ask for deposit refund, no one replies. The founders, ops team have pathetic attitude towards tenants. I wonder how they got funding from the investors? Must have embezzled investors money also. Refrain from using Settl. You will regret it. ### 1/5 — Worst service and just Money collection app *2024-09-06, version 15.3* I am staying in Settl from few months. Everytime they increase the rent every month. Money monger. They charge you heavily after you move in and provide no support. There is no one to listen to your request and respond. Better search for flat and move. If you ever want to feel smart, just use this app and see how rubbish the interface is. Not a single user journey makes sense from even a common sense pov. Coming to their service. It’s gradually declined a lot over the years, and it’s at its worst right now. They claim a “24/7 power back up” on all their ads and marketing. But they barely have 1 hour worth of backup that supports a fan rotating at 30% capacity. Please avoid, unless absolutely necessary. They wont pick calls after sales - just like a scamster would do. Housekeeping took my personal belongings when i wasnt in the room and their resolution was - it wont happen again. LOL. They wont share electricity bill - just charge you randomly. Please avoid!!! Be safe, rather than sorry. Plus the quality of the property degraded severely. Avoid at all costs. ### 1/5 — Flat not available despite paying the token amount *2025-08-01, version 16.2* I paid the token amount weeks before move in date. Just one before I was supposed to move in, they told the flat was handed over to some other person and offered me some other flat which was not upto the mark. I asked them to fully refund the token but nobody took address of this issue despite trying to reach out multiple times. Extremely unprofessional attitude. They take deposits of one month in advance, which will never be returned. Secondly if you have any issue in any of the property, related to anything they will take forever to solve it. It has been over 10 days that I have raised multiple complaints. No one even cares to respond or answer. The property managers in Hyderabad especially are useless. They are rude and they talk with a very attitude set mentality. Please don not use these services and regret later. I stayed at Settl for a year, and my experience was the worst.The sales team treats customers very poorly. They add irrelevant extra charges without any justification, and when it comes to the security deposit refund, they will make excuses and delay it endlessly. If you're considering Settl, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not value their tenants. It’s been 5 months and yet they don’t even have a trace of my security deposit. It’s become a storehouse of looting people’s hard earned money and not being responsible for anything. The customer support has the same reply for 5 months - It will be done by Tomorrow EOD. These will be the words. Trust me, you don’t need to stay with these guys. You can get better places to stay in Bengaluru. They had allotted my flat to someone else too, creating hassle when I arrived at the venue. If you go for Settl, just take it for sure you’re gonna suffer. I wish there was an option for negative stars. The App reviews and ratings speak for themselves. I made a mistake by ignoring the comments, just want others to be safe from this scam. ### 1/5 — Fraud *2024-12-21, version 16.0* Its a fraud company which promises 30 days return of your security deposit. Its been 80 days since i moved out and i havent received it yet. When i posted on linked in there are dozens of people facing the same issue, they will stop replying to your mails, picking up your calls and even their founders wont reply on linked even if you tag them.
