## What is Settled?

Snap the receipt. Tap who had what. Done.

Settled is the fastest way to split a restaurant bill. Scan the receipt with your camera and Settled reads it right on your iPhone — every item, every price, service charge and all. Tap to assign dishes to friends, and everyone gets a clear breakdown of exactly what they owe. No more "just split it evenly" when you had a starter and they had the steak.

READS RECEIPTS PROPERLY
Settled uses on-device Apple Intelligence to understand real receipts — quantities, shared bottles, service charges, discounts and taxes. VAT-inclusive prices are handled correctly, so the total actually matches the bill. And everything is editable, so you always have the final say.

FAIR BY DEFAULT
Shared items are divided between whoever had them. Service charge is split in proportion to what each person ordered — so the friend who had tap water doesn't subsidise the one who had three cocktails. Prefer an even split? One tap.

SEND IT ANYWHERE
Share the whole breakdown to the group chat, or send each person their own itemised share — by iMessage, WhatsApp, or anything else. They see exactly what they had and what they owe. Settle up however you like: bank transfer, cash, or the change in their pocket.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Receipts are read entirely on your iPhone. No photos uploaded, no data collected, no account to create. Your dinner is nobody's business but yours.

Settled requires an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence for automatic receipt reading. On other devices, receipts can be entered manually or scanned with basic text recognition.
