### 1/5 — COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY

*2026-08-25*

Just simply do not waste your money.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry SettleMate hasn’t delivered the value you expected. We’d appreciate the opportunity to understand what fell short and help. Please contact us at support@settlemate.io and reference this review so our team can look into your experience and assist you!

### 1/5 — Scam to get you to pay for the app

*2026-08-22*

You’re asked to review the app before even using it. Hence why this app has so many high ratings.

**Developer response:** Hi, the review prompt is completely optional and does not require a specific rating. Leaving a review is not required to access or use Settlemate. The prompt timing is not intentional, and we appreciate you flagging it. Please reference this review and email support@settlemate.io with any concerns!

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2026-08-21, version 4.5.0*

Had me go through a huge intro and signup just to hit me with a paid subscription wall

### 1/5 — Amazing app

*2026-08-21, version 4.5.0*

This app is BS never got a single payment even filling out all the forms and if you read the fine print they take a big percentage of your checks. Just go on classactions.org and you can actually get paid. False advertising by people on social media that don’t even know what they are talking about.

### 1/5 — External application

*2026-08-20, version 4.5.0*

Everything requires “external application” this app is a complete waste of money! I want my refund

### 1/5 — DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

*2026-08-20, version 4.5.0*

You pay for the app and then you don’t have access to anything. Then your charged for the auto subscription with no way to cancel.

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2026-08-20, version 4.4.9*

Misleading. Paying for a search engine that claims to prefill claims, but I haven’t had that yet at all. Unsure of where all the positive reviews come from. Maybe bots?

### 2/5 — Not sure if this actually works, or if I just donated 40 bucks to this company.

*2026-08-19, version 4.4.9*

This is supposed to file all the claims for me, but every single claim sends me to a third-party website.

### 1/5 — Typical

*2026-08-18*

They tell you they got money for you and then ask for a subscription, gig economy scam BS. Just use the internet for free. Oh also it doesnt even work outside the US

**Developer response:** We’re sorry this left that impression. Settlemate helps members discover settlement and savings opportunities. While most settlements are US based, members can also connect accounts to Autopilot to identify additional savings. Please email support@settlemate.io so we can clarify how the app works!

### 1/5 — Automatically charged me

*2026-08-17, version 4.4.9*

The SettleMate team deceived me by putting an automatic subscription on my account when I created my account and paying it through my Apple balance I wasn’t able to choose my own payment method so I’ve been stuck owing $16 for about two months now and I’m not gonna pay those 16 because I canceled my SettleMate subscription minutes after it was automatically enrolled. I talked to Apple support and they want me to pay the money when I was misguided and lied to

### 3/5 — Mislead

*2026-08-15, version 4.4.9*

It said that I was eligible for over $800 and then said I had no claims once I paid. Also had to really search for the claims it asked me about when I signed up so it redundant. We will see if it improves

### 1/5 — app stole my money

*2026-08-14, version 4.4.9*

signed up for a subscription a year ago and havent received a dime. trash app that stole $35 from me!! promised they would give it back and then took the promise back! 0/5 if i could

### 1/5 — Didn’t work

*2026-08-12, version 4.4.9*

I didn’t get any money back from any settlements. I only payed for this app because I thought I would get refunded if I didn’t earn back the cost of the subscription, but turns out they only extend your subscription for free if you don’t earn money. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Fraud

*2026-08-11, version 4.4.9*

This app this a scam and everyone should do a class action sue against them I’ve had this app for months I paid for the help. I did the settlement for a lot of companies which includes YouTube and facebook three of my friends that doesn’t even use this got their settlement of $140 and I said how come they got it and I didn’t since I’m paying for something. all those months I got charge should be fraud!!!!! Because I still haven’t received anything. This app should get their own settlement for robbing people

### 1/5 — Says no proof but you need proof

*2026-08-11, version 4.4.8*

Throughout the claims it says you need proof but each single one says you need some kind of proof at this point I hope SettleMate gets sued for straight up lying, falsely claiming/stating

### 1/5 — Subscription based

*2026-08-11, version 4.4.8*

Not paying a monthly subscription when I don’t know if the app actually works

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Too good to be true

*2026-09-01, version 4.5.1*

Got maybe $6 from one ACTUAL settlement in an entire year. Most of the things in this app are not real settlements but rather opportunities to sign up for class actions/engage with lawyers.

It’s also all one firm, which is really weird.

Anyway, save your money. When companies owe you money, you’ll get an email from them directly. That’s how it’s always been.

### 1/5 — You have to buy a subscription.

*2026-09-01, version 4.5.1*

They want you to pay for a subscription before you even know if this app will actually work. No thanks.

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2026-09-01, version 4.5.1*

You’re told how much you potentially can get but then have to pay a subscription of $39.99.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-31, version 4.5.1*

Immediately demands a subscription with zero guarantee of any payout

### 1/5 — Bait n switch

*2026-08-31, version 4.5.1*

Makes you go through the entire onboarding steps and then surprises you with a check at the end for a subscription , as if everything isn’t already a subscription

### 1/5 — Guarantee is a scam

*2026-08-31, version 4.5.1*

I figured why not try this since they said they had a money back guarantee. Used it actively a whole year and made $0 then they wouldn’t give me back my money. Don’t waste yours on this app!

### 1/5 — Deceptive advertising

*2026-08-29, version 4.5.1*

This app is essentially just a list of class action lawsuits. It directs you to external site application where you have to file there. Very deceptive advertising.

### 1/5 — Money back guarantee is lie

*2026-08-27, version 4.5.1*

Dont trust their money back guarantee. Their idea is pay for the subscription, try to open some cases and because its taking too long for those cases you will forget and end up not getting anything

### 1/5 — Asks for you to pay subscription

*2026-08-26, version 4.5.1*

It asks you to pay a subscription before you even know it’s legit or if it’s robbing your identity. I’m not going to pay money for something if it doesn’t offer or show what I’m about to pay for or share information for. Untrustworthy

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2026-08-25, version 4.5.0*

You can fill out claims online for free. I would NEVER pay a subscription to anyone just to get settlement money I am owed. I couldn’t care less what feedback these people have, I just want to inform possible consumers that this is meant to be FREEEEE

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy

*2026-08-30, version 4.5.1*

The app was easy to easy to use.

### 5/5 — New user

*2026-08-28, version 4.5.1*

I’m just starting my experience. I will update here later

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2026-08-22, version 4.5.0*

You can find lawsuit pretty quickly with this app

### 5/5 — Fraudulent practices. Predatory marketing.

*2026-08-20*

There is nothing unique about this app that warrants charging money. It is so glitchy that it will kick you out of the app at random. You will have to try multiple times to submit your forms. You will be shown dozens of class actions that you are not eligible for. You will waste more time trying to confirm your eligibility then it would take to find these on your own with Google. Pretty much all of these class actions require you having an email or a letter meaning that you would have already known about this. And the kicker is that their refund policy is created to scam you of your money— they tell you if you haven’t received payment to cover the cost you will be refunded. They don’t tell you that you cannot be eligible until a year passes. They also do not tell you that regardless of the access you give them to your personal email and a lack of eligible class actions, you will be denied your refund for “not doing enough”. Keep in mind that I communicated proactively to understand what was needed to qualify and there is no information provided that I had not already done. Btw, the timeline also falls out of the 3rd party refund policy timeline for Apple and any payment method— intentionally creating a loophole that prevents you from getting your money back.

**Developer response:** We're sorry for the frustration. Being kicked out of the app is not expected behavior, and we'd like to investigate. We add new claims weekly, and not all require a notice letter. Autopilot also finds savings beyond class actions. Our support channels remain open before and after purchase for guidance on refunds and cancellations, and our policies are never designed to create loopholes. Please reference this review and email support@settlemate.io so our team can look into your case.

### 5/5 — Subscription needed

*2026-07-15, version 4.4.6*

Subscription is needed. Not worth the pay out.

### 5/5 — great

*2026-07-08, version 4.4.4*

helps u find real money

### 5/5 — Easy use

*2026-07-05, version 4.4.4*

It’s easy to use but $365 over 20 years isn’t much compared to the money they cheated me out of i probably missed a few questions on there or you missed some things on different nicknames because I have had a lot over the years

### 5/5 — No settlement money yet

*2026-07-04, version 4.4.4*

No settlement money received yet

### 5/5 — Need it to be at the top

*2026-07-04, version 4.4.4*

I find it annoying i can’t delete my account since the app is locked behind a subscription so i can’t even access my account or my info. It’s just sketchy.

### 5/5 — This is incredible

*2026-07-02, version 4.4.4*

I’m so excited to see what unfolds I’m just at the beginning and I can Already see what a great value this is. I can’t believe all the money. I have been missing out on.
