I enjoyed this game for a while, but it is becoming increasingly frustrating because of its definite lack of randomness, and the fact that certain actions that eliminate rows or columns don’t aid in completing challenges. I’m not going to waste anymore time on this game. ### 2/5 — Not random at all *2024-08-09, version 1.2.4* Go ahead, make a mistake, and the one number you need to correct things won’t come up for several “bonus” cycles. ### 2/5 — Broken audio means it’s not worth bothering *2019-09-25, version 1.2.4* This is a very basic but decent-enough game that would be fun if you could turn off the sound. Unfortunately, you can’t listen to music or a podcast while playing Seven because you can’t disable the sound. You can mess with the settings and swap back and forth between apps a minimum of three times and it will sometimes work, but every time you come back to it, you have to mess with it more. The number drop repeatedly undoes careful planning and a lot of luck is needed to succeed. A way to give the player a chance would be to preview the next few numbers. I like the endless mode but hate the number drop. I like the mechanics of Drop 7 better that pushes up from the bottom, which lets you work some strategy. Also, the game will pick the number you just had to block off almost 100% of the time which is so frustrating. Not sure I will stick with this game. ### 1/5 — Good concept, poor execution *2018-11-06, version 1.2.4* Endless mode bores me, for just wasting time I guess it’s good. I prefer challenges. However the challenges rely more on luck than skill. You can have numbers grouped together and then a random drop screws it all up. So you use up lives. There should be no lives. In at least a couple games I had to clear white or copper dots to complete the challenge. Glitchy. *2025-02-28, version 1.2.4* I think this game is incomplete and unsupported. It stops mid-game and asks you to buy more moves in order to keep playing, or it just freezes up. If you complete about 150 challenges it gives you a “coming soon” page for more games that appears to be permanent. Even though you already purchased the game. Pretty scummy stuff. There are so many glitches that make the game stop working. But this particular app developer ripped it from the original version published by Zynga. Zynga officially published the game with the game creator Frank Lantz permission. But this and other clones if it just copy pasted it and slightly changed appearance. But the challenges can be extremely frustrating, almost in-winnable unless you spend $1 for ONE power up.
